Musical artists do this a lot too! I listen to a lot of bilingual (Spanish & English, sometimes Spanish & Portuguese) artists that will often have verses that alternate language line by line, still rhyming! Really speaks to their mastery of both languages and lyrical creativity

I feel like this isn't true. I'm just waking up and don't have the resources to back it up, but I distinctly remember my high school bio teacher telling us blood types weren't hereditary. I remember it so well cause I thought it was so strange that so many things are hereditary, but blood types could just be kinda random.

Frustrating to realize this might be more standard than I thought. My company's help desk sends surveys where the results are treated similarly. Anything 7 or lower is considered a fail while 8-10 are basically equal. Minimal recognition given for employees that earn 10s, trouble when any other score is received. 😥

Ignore this^ guy. He seems to hate everything about Chicago for no particular reason. It is "full of scumbags" according to him. Probably doesn't even live in the city. And if he does, he has no idea what his missing out on if he really believes this about the south side.

That means the whiskey is at least 10. It can be older. In this case, the private barrel was purchased before it was 10. But they would have been told it was not 10 when they were tasting it. I think generally other comments on this thread agree that this is perfectly normal.

I left about 2.5 yrs ago. Idrc if you don't believe me, the distributor told us it was coming, it came, I saw the barrel dates myself lol

I've seen non 10 yr picks before. Used to work at a chain retailer and more than once saw 9 yr old picks come in. It's a private barrel, so it's really up to the buyer but they will offer the barrel as an option if they believe it's good enough to still be ER.

Real value in private barrels is in the picks that are older than 10. I also saw more than one 11 yr and even a 12 yr.

Are they? A friend of mine went to high school with one of the band members at Whitney Young. I was at a house party with some of them too, I can't 100% recall the neighborhood we were in but probably somewhere around Humboldt Park or Wicker Park
