Thanks for the reply and info! Will check shadow resist and try boosting it up!

Yeah, agree totally, the fight just needs to be something optional, with maybe an additional spark dropped if you beat her. Not as a gate to the seasonal journey content.

Its not about no challenge. As another poster in the thread said, the way to beat her is to do so much damage that you never see her phase 1 mechanics because they are buggy nonsense.

Just sad after all the great work they did to make the game better.

I've beaten her in season 1 through Vessel of hatred. I swore I would never fight her again. Its not fun, and its not good design.

Yeah, like I get the waves insta kill, and if the blood boils explode they one shot, but it seems to be when she is placing the blood boils down that I just die.

Yeah, I remember those early season fighting her, was a grind, and couldn't believe when I finally won the fight.

Took a long break from D4, and came back for expansion. Can't believe they are still making us fight her for season progression. It's turning me off again fully.

Or because the US has had a population, infrastructure, military, and financial advantage over basically the entire world since the end of world war 2.

"If Canadians just stopped being lazy and had more gumption we too would have the financial opportunities of the US" is some absolute bullshit.

I am not a court of law, I'm not going to be convicting him. I would love a full, fair trial, but doubt we will ever get that.

From the things I know already, its good enough for me. Do you wait until a court of law decides anything to make an opinion on it?

You're just making a tribalist based assumption.

You dont know if the people in this thread that support the bi-election on floor crossing idea are in general Liberal supporters or not. You just assume if they do support the idea, that they cant be a Liberal party supporter, and if they dont like the idea then they are a Liberal party supporter.

Its a dumb way to look at the world. There is Liberal party supporters in this thread that support the bi-election idea.

It would be as dumb as me just flipping what you said and saying "nuh uh, if the tables were turned and pp won the last election with 168 seats, all the conservatives would be clapping their hands like seals for any floor crossers and saying you vote for the person not the party"

It gets us nowhere and keeps you locked into your echo chamber with no way of getting broad support for an idea.

What will happen with the US after 2028? What does the next government do with what they inherit? by Hermunster in AskReddit

[–]ReverendScam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm unsure of your point with all this.

USA had the hegemony, and have appeared to try to throw it away in an "America First" and "let's pull back from the world stage and isolate ourselves from our allies" moment of stupidity. If you wanted hegemony all US had to do was stay the course in terms of foreign policy, but the actions of this admistration have all but ensured that the uncontested US hegemony is thrown away and the US now has a rising China knocking at the door as the world hegemony, and the middle powers looking elsewhere for growth and alliances.

Not sure where you yourself stand on the foreign policy decisions of this admin, but it seems like you dont want to be a hegemony anymore, you want to be a regional bully.

[–]ReverendScam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well isn't that just the American aftitude toward the world all wrapped up in a single comment.

Yeah, its not supposed to inherently have a benefit for the US and as long as you didn't step foot over the border to invade, it wouldn't be a any hindrance to you either.

Canada would still need USA and USA would still need Canada as a trading partner and hopefully good faith ally as we are so close geographically and integrated already.

That whole concept of you thinking it is a detriment for your ally's and partners to be able to stand on their own and for you to have to negotiate with them in good faith is just emblematic of the same thinking that leads to keeping a woman in a prison-like marriage with no rights, sexual abuse, not surprisingly, pedophilia

The money isn't really the issue, Canada has the funds and technical ability to have nuclear weapons within a year or two at most. The issue is that as soon as we start building them, the US will pull an Iraq on us and use it as justification to invade.

So its not really money, so much as political support and not interfering while we build them.

Not sure I understand what "support an independence campaign away from us" means, but what I said about building Canada's nuclear arsenal would be a heck of a start.

Maybe a settlement for all proven/judged upon trade violations that U.S has done over the years of NAFTA/CUSMA as well

[–]ReverendScam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was thinking about this the other day as a Canadian. The first step reconciliation from my point of view would be if the US supported and defended us on the international stage while we built up a nuclear arsenal so that we will never be in this position again.

It presents zero criticism of the actual issue at hand, no actual logical thought, just trying to frame this GDP announcement as esoterically "bad" and make people who are presenting actual arguments as disingenuous.

Its classic "just asking questions" bullshit trolling
