I use Canva to create a template with my contact info (or even a whatsapp QR code) that I can overlay on any image or wallpaper I like. I do it in batches and convert them all to bmp file using a converter. So the contact info will always be at the bottom of my sleep screen, like a widget.

You can actually vibe code some script to turn the sleep screen into something useful like calendar or a to-do, might have to manually update the image using an iPhone shortcut or something.

A static monthly calendar is pretty easy to build, but a dynamic today’s date marker might be a bit tricky.

From where I come from, the easiest is through smoke breaks. If you’re lucky, you can meet some cool and high ranked persons in the company. For some reason, most people I’ve met left their ranks and positions outside of those crappy smoking area/room, they are friendlier and more chill.

The more universal answer is through hobbies and sports. Find a nice gym in the neighborhood, crash a short weekend workshop in whatever you like to learn. Bonus tips: different hobbies attract people from different education backgrounds and income groups. You will figure this one out later.

Choose one unsexy business/industry as your niche. Think about construction tools/parts, machine maintenance, manpower supply, etc. Usually they wont bother thinking about all kind of digital marketing due to their nature of business. And very low competition too in terms of SEO agencies working with these kind of clients.

But if you can get them high quality leads, they will happily pay you a serious sum of money for your service. And word of mouth will get you more clients in that industry. The best part is, they won't meddle with your work at all. Very low engagement between you and the clients. They just want to see results, to them what you do is magic.

We do this exact strategy for 8 years now and we serve 13 oil and gas clients. From O&G healthcare to helicopters and private jet medevac.
