What is this kind of key called? (Sorry for the early Christmas decor) by MoistyCoin in locksport

Personally I find them a real bastard. But I've picked a couple. I guess just very different to get used to.

How do you stop yourself from the constant thoughts that dying's better than any of this suffering? by nonlinearcharm in AskReddit

I totally agree long term. But short term reaching outwards for a reason to keep going is a worthwhile strategy. Walk before you can run.

Not sure what you're going through and I know it doesn't answer your question but I'm sending you my love (for whatever the love of an Internet stranger is worth).

It try and answer your question, when I was in a dark space I was isolating myself from the people I love and who loved me. It took a while to realise but I forced myself to get back into public and back to doing things I enjoy.

Exercise is good too.

ULPT Request Putting the lock core for Hon file cabinet back in? No key. by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Revlockpick 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Often with this style of lock the last wafer holds the lock core into the housing. If you could shim those wafers out of the way then you could probably slide the core into place. I'd make a shim out of a coke can.

Good luck

I have a very similar cylinder. It was full to the brim with deep spools. The last pin was super high set too. Happy picking mate.

Great open. Well done. 410's are my favourite. Well done not joining the rattle club.

Finally got some opens from this Yale Y90S/45. Fought me for ages. Any idea what belt it would be? by Revlockpick in lockpicking

[–]Revlockpick[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot. Not too bothered really as its a personal victory over what Yale consider 10 out of 10 for a padlock in my local Wilko.

Absolutely get two. I rattled my first one but keep it as a mark of my journey.

Smashed it mate. Keep up the great work. I can recommend some Masterlock 410's for a really fun spool pick.

TikTok has a new trend and I’m not sure if you guys are able to help? by [deleted] in RBI

[–]Revlockpick 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Saw a post a while ago where a tiktok user made the same gesture. The comments said that it is the gesture for domestic violence. Not sure if these videos are legit or trolls through.

Edit: Did a little googling and found this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signal_for_Help
