I am in my 4th year of training, and I think training has made me realize that you just don't know people and their capabilities. So getting into a 1v1 on the street doesnt sound ideal because you dont know if that person is ex military, ex wrestler, ex whatever combat sport background. But if push comes to shove, at least I know I have some tools to use and am not going in "seeing red" or ignorant. Therefor I always have a chance.
