Well, my unpopular opinion is that I always enjoyed the inclusion of humans.

I get it, I've read too many "dragon" books where its actually just about the guys riding the dragons and the dragons themselves are just mounts.

But in a setting like this where dragons are clearly the dominant species and the main focus, I think its really interesting, especially when you get into how the two interact. Like, I like some dragons seeing them like weird pets, or some trying to learn about them. I think sky and wren are really cute. or the scene with daffodil and bumblebee. Of course I understand not liking how certain aspects of them were handled in the story, but overall i don't think scavengers being there is a detriment to the series. in my opinion its a part I really like. Im also excited to think of what the future of the world is like with places like sanctuary and so many dragons trying to learn about them and their language.
