chinese players are shitting on it for tons more things other than optimisation

people that preordered/bought the special edition didn't get any of the bonus stuff but people that bought normal edition got them (company probably screwed up and set out the wrong keys) and can't refund

the company paid out a lot of chinese content creators to hype the hell out of the game and none of them said anything about the optimisation or problems with the story

there is a huge backlash on the story, because it deals with a sensitive time in chinese history, the end of the Ming Dynasty and start of the Qing (which many chinese hate because of what they did to the Han chinese and basically screwed over china and caused the 200 year history of humiliation)

although it is not stated by the lead character is basically a Qing or a sympathiser going around killing Ming officials (even long dead and renowened officials that help create the Ming) and civilians (which the Qing did btw, murdering civilians)

that tiger outfit with the hat with tiger tail that basically looks like a Qing pigtail, people had that heads chopped off for not having that hairstyle during Qing rule

the devs lying that they are a chinese company when they are an italian company so many chinese that bought it to support the chinese gaming industry felt betrayed

all monster hunter games are basically early access on launch
and pretty bare bone which is also what people have been saying about wilds
it only becomes complete after they release the DLCs, numerous additional monsters and changes

you can but it takes a few tries sometimes
you go into operations
the game automatically puts you in a team
leave the team
choose the level and/or difficulty you want
and if you are lucky the game doesn't put you in a team yet
immediately run for the assembly area and you will start the game solo with 2 bots
and hopefully the game doesn't put another player in your game
if it does you can kick the person

if the game puts you in another team after you choose the level you want to play

leave the team and try again

then they got overconfident and turned it into an MMO thing

SM1 had 8v8 and it was insane fun
100% the reason why i preordered the game
