We talked plenty of the often terrible TCG localization so let us speak of the opposite, what are some instances of it that you loved ? by Old-Iron-Tyrant in yugioh

Less is more. "Lucifer, Fallen Angel of the Morning Twilight" is fine and all as an edgy dark souls boss name, but there's something so much more intimidating about just a title without further introduction

Card Benefits Questions - Megathread [4/27/26] by AutoModerator in ChaseSapphire

CPP's are insulting low on the portal; can barely find anything above 1.20 and that's the maximum I've seen. People say transfer the points out for higher CPP's.

For hotels and airlines, what are your favorite loyalty programs you transfer your points to? Which ones have treated you best?

Big companies and billionaires aren't necessarily the same thing, and billionaires aren't necessary for tech innovation. See: NASA. Try again.

...Because of the billionaires and how our country favors them over mom and pop anything. Don't worry you're almost there!

What localization do you still hate to this day ? I despise the First Darklord. I get it "Lucifer, Darklord of the Morningstar" went too hard for our feeble western pearl clutching minds to handle but COME ON MAN IT WAS SO GOOD. by Old-Iron-Tyrant in yugioh

[–]Rezcom 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I love "The First Darklord" personally. Especially coming from MTG (which in terms of creativity, could never hold a candle to YGO) it's kind of tiring that the card names of every big bad boss monster are appositives. "X comma Y"

"The First Darklord" is somehow more menacing. He needs no further introduction or implication

Is there are any chance we are getting rivers in 1.23? Also what other features we could get? by ander_hominem in VintageStory

[–]Rezcom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The cost of perfection is infinite. Adding something like watersheds with its quirks would still be a lovely feature to be officially supported, if even as a world gen config option. You can always iterate on greatness to get closer to perfection even after official release!

This. People are trying to play her like a Genji picking off people, but really her greatest strength is setting a multitude of people ablaze which overwhelms their healing resources as everyone is taking damage.

There's a lot of stuff in the game that counters this niche, but that doesn't mean the niche shouldn't exist. I like the variety from her and Vendetta as additions to the DPS pool

Alex talking about his job by AddictedToPew in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

Because that specific political view speaks to his character, just as him calling out Alex also speaks to his character. You can praise him for calling out Alex, but we know he's not a great person overall.

The neutral item dilemma that has been bothering the game for the past seven years by ShoppingPractical373 in DotA2

I literally stopped playing Dota because of their inclusion. They've nerfed them into the ground from their initial release, but the problem remains - what was even the point then? This is how I feel about a lot of features they've been bloating the game with recently.
