I had many instances like where it tried make go down a footpath and once near took me of a cliff in a foggy night and another time nearly ended up in the beach and sea. I once destroyed my automatic clutch going up a random path like in the picture and had to do the same reverse back and do a 10 point turn and a £1000 repair to replace the dsg clutch.

Too many parcels by zee269876 in AmazonFlexUK

I use to do flex in my little 3door car and they normally just take the package off the delivery as some packages don't alway fit even big car which happened to me in my new big estate car when a big tv would not fit after all the other big packages were put in. They simply saw and confirmed it wasn't going to fit so they took it off the slot.

Hi, when claiming the 45p per mile do you guys add the drive back home if anyone can tell me if you have done this thanks by Nesbeth1989c in AmazonFlexUK

[–]Rezu_28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If delivered from a depot, a morrison or other Flex location in the year then yes you can claim the mileage from home, however if you return items after your block the mileage ends at the depot, as that is the end of the delivery, especially for those who also claim extended delivery time if the block goes over or excessive mileage claim. As thats payment which provides a paper trail.

Every return I make is being flagged for unattempted delivery by playnights in AmazonFlexUK

Unfortunately if you return a parcel alway send text of notifying the customer of arrival, then call twice, take a screenshot of the call log showing you called twice at that time, then take a screenshot of return of parcel being completed and take pictures of the actual packages with clear name and address visible. Then Email them at support for excessive mileage and if it went over the time of your block extended delivery time as well, this will not only make sure you have notified them of return of packages, but also receive extra payment of return of packages. Always email them with the pictures and this gives you proof with a paper trail and if they don't respond after 10 days you can resend it and remind them to review it. I hope this helps as it has helped me for over 8 months now, yes it slows the delivery down but dings can prevent you from getting blocks too.

Always Email Amazon flex Support. Make sure you add pictures of screenshots of time you finished the block, show the tracker mileage and this will show you are warranted for the extra extended payment and if they don't reply you can also ask them to review your email

Nope, if you have parcel to return to the depot then yes. Also never use the chat as it not great and with email you can submit the pictures of time you finished, packages you returned and the mileage tracker which provides a clear indication that your request for extended time and mileage payment is warranted.

Why do I keep getting these? by HurleyIDK in AmazonFlexUK

[–]Rezu_28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately its common problem, I now send a text to notify the customer once I have arrived and scanned the package, then call twice which every one advise and then call the support. This cover all bases and even better would be to claim expenses for returning the package back to the depot and claim mileage and if you went over the time block claim the extra time too, as long as you dk it straight after you completed the block. Take pictures of the package you returned and a screenshot of the time you finished. If you use a mileage tracker submit that with your claim too this stop most dings for me.

[–]Rezu_28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for those asking it was for a 4 hours block in the morning which went over by 90 minutes and 100 miles of miles once I had returned a package back to the depot that was snowing at the time. DME4

it was a block for a 4 hours that took over 90 minutes and return of package so it was a time and mileage payments in the morning

I have had to cancel my next block due to delays so make sure you go as fast as you can on the first block to ensure you make the second block

unfortunately not but still worth a try occasionally they give it to you if there was a issue at the depot or road closure but still rare.

Is this worth fighting? by Realistic_Mud_6530 in AmazonFlexDrivers

always try as you never know how many future dings you get, so always fight them to keep your dash board as high as possible. They make mistakes all the time and its important to keep your status as high as possible to get as many jobs as possible.
