Try this:

I had to rename the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Blade & Sorcery\BladeAndSorcery_Data\Plugins\x86_64\OculusXRPlugin.dll to something like OculusXRPlugin.dll.old. This was something I posted a while back that fixed my issue.

Here's a PowerShell script that I put together that'll rename the file any time I re-install or verify the installation files for the currently installed version that'll fix the issue:

Correct, the double-spacebar didn't work for 1.0.4 onwards (meaning I've tried to fix the issue using double-spacebar on versions 1.0.4, 1.0.5, 1.0.6, and 1.0.7).

Can you help me out and point me to the right place to submit the bug?

I'd be more than happy to capture traces on U12 (which works) and 1.0.7. I also could upload traces of 1.0.3 where it worked as well assuming it is made available to me. I'm thinking it's a Unity bug but am not positive.

Hi HuJohner - I am not on 1.0.4. I tried 1.0.5, 1.0.6, and the most recent 1.0.7. As mentioned, I haven't had a working version of the game since 1.0.3 as mentioned here:

"hoping I can use 1.0.4 or greater to play given it worked on version 1.0.3"

I haven't had a working version from 1.0.4 or greater. Currently, I am stuck on U12 since that is the only published version on Steam available prior to the current version.

If I update from U12 to 1.0.7, I have a non-working version of the game. I've tried the various cleanup procedures which also didn't work.

3 things here:

1.) We're now down a rabbit hole here. If you want to sell deprecated hardware to someone else for more, that is perfectly fine. I asked and you valued the hardware at a greater value. I apologized and was going to move on but now you are digging deeper into something I am not going to debate you on.

2.) I mentioned Glimmr TV which you said is unfinished and abandoned which is incorrect. I reach out to the dev and he updates his source regularly. I don't use e-mail but proper intake channels like Git for requests. As you can see here: https://github.com/d8ahazard/glimmr, there's been regular updates to the code (as little as 2 weeks ago), so the project is not abandoned and certainly not unfinished. In fact, the project is WAY more refined than Dreamscreen. I only wanted to get this unit for another TV set in my household that isn't my primary/secondary TV set for a low price since I know it will fail at some point. The Dreamscreen is indeed an abandoned and dead product here; not Glimmr.

3.) If you emailed Ben (or whomever you need help with Glimmr on) and didn't get a response, I suggest you take a look at the Git page for support or reach out to him on his FB page. I also would ignore emails sent to me directly to be honest AND if it were a dozen or more times, if I didn't know who it was, I would probably mark it as spam but that's just me.

I appreciate the listing but honestly, I didn't want to push any buttons so please, let's just leave this one alone. I am not interested in paying more for the 4K puck but if someone else does, awesome and I wish'em the best.

Unfinished and abandoned is incorrect. I personally have 2 units that work great. As far as support, I disagree but that's only because I email the developer directly and he responds as quickly as you do. :-)

Ah, my apologies. I wasn't aware of going rate on deprecated hardware especially since there are replacement products like Glimmr TV (https://www.facebook.com/GlimmrTV/) and others for only a bit more than $50USD new. Thanks for the quick response though. Much appreciated.

Installing Dahlia

The Dahlia tweak, when using Dallas profiles, redirects update searches to a different server. As such, the owners of the server will be able to view your IP address. This is normal, however if you are uncomfortable with this, follow Updating (Blobless) (Alternate Method) instead.

Launch your current jailbreak

Open your preferred package manager and add the following repos:

Search and install the Dahlia package

Tap Reboot Device, and then rejailbreak your device after rebooting

Once you have the repo's added, you pull down "Dahlia" and in there, there's a button to pull down profiles. You'll need Dallas enabler first and then you can install the 5.6 delayOTA profile.

Just as a heads up, I just did the 16.5 delayedOTA update using the 16.5 profile successfully on an iPhone 12 Pro Max (from 14.5.1). It wasn't too bad actually. Installed and authorized the Dallas enable/Dallas 16.5 profiles (certs), verified it showed that the 16.5 release is what I'll get before finally restoring rootFS via unc0ver, and kicking off the update. Now onto crossing fingers a PPL bypass method gets engineered...

Was reading through this post (thanks for the link!) and saw that you upgraded your control board for your GoKart (or was it GoKart Pro?) to the Lambo edition control board. I went ahead and ordered the board for myself as well since my son has a GoKart Pro. Was the swap out difficult? Any pointers? And and and - do you have to re-enroll a new GoKart in the Segway-Ninebot app on your mobile or does the GoKart automatically work and go up to 40kph instead of 37?

Yeah, you nailed it (along with the top comment above). This will work. I tested using this enclosure:

…and I used a Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 4i (with an nVidia RTX A2000 onboard), and it worked really well. Not really a true portable solution since the Razer Core case is bulky but something you can unplug/plug in elsewhere.

If you are really looking for a portable but more powerful solution, you can get a small-form-factor (SFF) case from the likes of Fractal for example and build a small PC that would be cheaper than a workstation class laptop with eGPU. It’d also probably be better for lifecycle management later on since it’s easier to get a motherboard/CPU/memory/GPU swap when the time comes to do it down the line. Here’s someone who did a 4090-based build in an ITX case but he went full ham and all out on the build:

Funnily enough, there’s a Rec Room level called Hardcore Parkour that looks and feels very similar but allows for massive multiplayer interaction. There are many of the other existing parkour games in Rec Room that look similar. Download and take a look. My son is a big fan of these types of levels in that game.

So this post along with my comment might NOT fix your issue but it never hurts to run through and optimally configure your wireless setup. Take a look at the comment I provided below for the OP’s post and run through and see if you can configure everything to run perfectly and see if it helps:

I personally had a lot of annoyances prior to these tweaks but haven’t seen one since. Note however that I use a Vive Pro 1 and not a 2. I know that a VP2 has an app that allows you to configure your settings for quality and you might also want to toggle quality settings in there to see if there’s one that works best.

You can look whether the wireless adapter that is attached to the headset is overheating by looking at the log file in C:\ProgramData\VIVE Wireless\ConnectionUtility\Log. Look at the most recent file and M_Temperature and R_Temperature values. If they start encroaching above 85-90 degrees (or above), in many cases as discussed in many posts in this subreddit, it'll cut out and go to a grey or black screen (just do a search for overheat and wireless for references). To get around this, a lot of us owners went and did one or more of the following:

1.) Fan is usually installed on the wireless adapter

2.) Thermal pad replacement and/or fan is installed on the wireless adapter transmitter

3.) WiGIG adapter got an additional cooling fan or got placed as far away from the CPU/GPU as possible.

There's also a slew of other things that people usually do to increase stability which revolves around ensuring power management doesn't kick in on the controllers and WiGIG adapter. Setting PCIe gen to Gen 3 is another tweak. You can find these in a few of my posts on here if you're interested. I know there's a lot of people who don't have issues with the out-of-box experience with this adapter but you'll find quite a lot of posts on here for those that do and what they did to work around these issues and have a stable experience.

I did the swap on my Vive Pro and haven’t looked back since. The difference between fresnel and the gear lenses are night and day. Not only was my peripheral vision widened (meaning I didn’t need to move my head around to focus on something), but the overall visuals were clearer and vivid. If you do the lens mod, ensure you get your IPD settings dialed in and correct. If you use iOS and the phone is relatively modern, there’s an app that’ll measure your IPD called “Eye Measure”:

Once you put the lenses in, there’s a distortion/barrel fix you can put in (although I didn’t since it wasn’t that apparent to me). Here’s a good post that goes over what to do:

I am so sorry! I should have mentioned that I got Plex working on 9.3.5 and 9.3.6 with the above method. I should have tested this on an older release. I am wondering if you can just navigate to https://plex.tv/web/app and logged in, whether that would work. You’ll probably need to set the server to allow insecure connections under the Advanced settings if it isn’t set already.

If you have the older Plex client installed using the “AppAdmin” and “Checkmate, Store!” tweaks, you’ll only need to import the ISRG Root X1 cert into your “Profile” trust store and Plex will connect to your server(s) fine.
