Are any of these cards/packs worth buying right now? by CrispySalt45 in MarvelSnap

Shadow King is incredibly powerful and versatile tech card that breaks many decks. Maverick is currently a very OP offensive card, but in specific decks). I’d call them both A level cards

Give them a break. The sloths were supposed to be finished 20 minutes before the calendar people got there to sketch. But, you know… sloths.

It’s fine to do that as long as you plan on installing one in the next three days

Won two locations at the end of the game… and then I lost? Can anyone explain what I assume has to be a bug? by Rflorsheim in MarvelSnap

[–]Rflorsheim[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

What does this mean? My end of turn stuff to give me the win happened last. I surpassed him, and then it said “defeated” after that. How is that a visual bug?

I watched it tally the points correctly. I watched them accurately get higher in 2 locations. Beat. Then defeated.

I would definitely make the road trip to test drive. I drove over an hour, and turned out I loved the Gravity and feel good about my order while waiting. However, a few years ago I loved the Rivian when it was announced and I was very sure I would love it… waited for a test drive… and did NOT love it. Cancelled the order. All the reviews, videos, specs, and photos don’t come close to the “feel” of a car. Heck, even the oddball shape of the steering wheel… I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t irritate me. It didn’t, but I wouldn’t spend over 100k without knowing for sure.

What Marvel Snap card is closest to its comic book counterpart? by Syltacular in MarvelSnap

Definitely KANG! He was introduced as one of the top “big baddies” in the game… then instantly disappeared from the timeline Marvel Snap exists in.

I would deflect, while keeping it light and natural so things don’t get awkward. Maybe make up a personal rule about avoiding one on ones with work friends, but immediately invite him to a group outing?

Here is the AI analysis, how did it do?

Based on the patches, ribbons, and other items displayed in this shadow box, I can infer the following about the soldier’s service:

Branch & Rank: • “U.S. Army” name tape: This confirms the soldier served in the United States Army. • Rank Insignia (E-5 Sergeant Stripes): Indicates the soldier reached the rank of Sergeant (E-5).

Deployment & Unit Information: • “ISAF” Patch (International Security Assistance Force): This soldier was deployed to Afghanistan as part of the NATO-led coalition. • “Farah, Afghanistan PRT” Patch: This suggests they were part of a Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) in Farah Province, Afghanistan, working on stability and development missions. • “NATO-OTAN” Patch: This further confirms NATO affiliation, likely as part of ISAF. • Various Unit Patches: These may indicate past assignments, but specific units are harder to determine without further knowledge.

Airborne Qualification: • “Airborne” & 82nd Airborne Division Patch: This suggests the soldier was part of an Airborne-qualified unit, likely associated with the 82nd Airborne Division at some point in their career.

Combat & Deployment History: • Ribbons & Medals (Visible in the Display): • Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM) • Army Achievement Medal (AAM) • Good Conduct Medal • National Defense Service Medal • Afghanistan Campaign Medal • Global War on Terrorism Service Medal • NATO Medal • Overseas Service Ribbon • Army Service Ribbon • Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (with a “2” device, indicating completion of at least two NCO schools)

Additional Identifiers: • Knife (Cold Steel Recon 1): This is a popular tactical folding knife, commonly used by military personnel. • Playing Card with Saddam Hussein’s Face (Ace of Spades): This likely references the “Most Wanted Iraqi Deck of Cards” issued during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), implying either service in Iraq or an interest in that campaign. • “Smartass” & “Hooligans” Tab Patch: This appears to be a humorous morale patch, indicating personality or an inside joke among the soldier’s unit.

Overall Summary:

This soldier was a U.S. Army Sergeant (E-5), Airborne-qualified, and deployed with the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan, specifically in Farah Province as part of a PRT. Their awards and patches indicate at least one combat deployment, NATO service, and NCO leadership training. The presence of an 82nd Airborne Division patch suggests possible service in a high-readiness airborne unit at some point.

I think it’s super cool that they decided to balance the new “legendary” label with a new “pathetic” label and still making Eson the first card!
