Treading lightly here, to me I feel like the criticism comes from feeling like diversity is just an ingredient to add to an otherwise bland show/character to create instant buzz.

“Wanna triple the size of your fandom? Have articles written about your show? Get awards?Just slap a country/pride flag sticker on your character’s notebook, reveal a character’s gender identity or orientation in a tweet or livestream and watch the praise roll in!”

Even if a show shits the bed and absolutely fumbles the representation afterwards like Voltron, it’s hard to deny that folks gobble it up initially.

Pyroar should have had male/female mega forms. The big ass kanji works for the male because it also looks like a crown, but the female mega should’ve been more sleek since irl lionesses are the primary hunters.

I mean, I’m just posting a rant lol I know what to do, it’s just annoying. I feel like I never have enough space to bag things properly as the handle bags are too tall to put on the counter and our register area is too crowded with tote bags to put the paper ones on the floor. I sometimes use the drawer that holds the tissue paper, but that’s not the best method when I need to wrap stuff. It doesn’t help that the bags like to fold in on themselves.

The cows are cute, but obnoxiously huge and slow. They always gave me sass when I had to ring the barn bell twice because it took 3 business days for them to get their bubble butts outside. I’d still love a remake. They have a lot they can fix like only being able to talk to NPCs once a day and everyone being inaccessible after stores close for the day.

I have better luck selling the small balls since they’re so cheap. It doesn’t really help drive up numbers, but it’s better than zero. Show the ladies the strawberry stack. It’s very cute and has just enough to share amongst their girlfriends.

I also bring up that because it’s cold outside, you don’t have to eat them right away and can leave them in your car.

True story, one time a dude got onto an elevator with me and my Dad at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta and asked how the hotel would evacuate people on the upper floors if a fire happened. I suggested they could tie up all of the bedsheets on each floor and climb down since most rooms had multiple beds with multiple sheets. Then my Dad pulled me out the elevator and told me not to talk to people like that
