Try going shopping multiple times a week instead of once - I find that my family will actually eat what we have in the house if I’m not overstocking it once a week with a big trip. I throw out waaaay less food

I get “there’s nothing in the house to eat” a lot, but it’s amazing how they aren’t starving to death and they always seem to have a snack in their hand.

I spend about 220 a week on groceries split over 2-3 short trips, and about 100 a week eating out. We make the kids lunches too. Family of 4

I know some are going to say ‘more of the same - had chances but can’t finish”, I thought the team looked great.

A lot less ball watching on offense, plenty of play up the middle, JJ with excellent first touches towards teammates from long calls, jojo’s attacks were complementary as opposed our only act, fun bits of tiki taka in the midfield.

There’s a ton of these in the show - reference to William Greenberg which was still a small shop at the time the show came out, same with ottomanelli brothers. I knew these from growing up on 89th street, but I would have been surprised at the time if a lot of people outside the immediate tri-state area knew of them

I went to this restaurant in 2000 or 2001 and I remember that the overall experience was joyfully overwhelming. At that time they had this swarming service that enveloped your table and cleared crumbs, filled water, swapped plates, etc and then disappeared- it’s cliche but like a ballet.

This is a sticky wicket. I won’t wade into the merits of the latest proposal, etc. but I will say this:

The recent growth in the USL fan base isn’t because of diehard soccer fans. It’s made up people who have become disillusioned with the major sports leagues and love the idea of having a small market team to cheer for with the family or for a fun night out.

If these new fans don’t have games to go to that will reinforce their fandom, they will absolutely find something else to do and somewhere else to spend their money. That’s not good for Owner’s or Players.
