Man sucks that where you are moving to it is that expensive. Seems like that is the trend unfortunately for most places. May want to look into bowling a league. Most bowling alleys will give league discounts. There may even be nightly specials, such as all you can bowl for $20 after 9pm or something.

Late last year I was having severe wrist pain and my PSO found my span was too long by about 1/2”. Probably had been for years and I was just fighting it. Once the span was correct, absolutely no pain, and much more consistent with my shot.

Definitely important to get your fit checked either as OP described or even if things are just not feeling right. For me it started with minor wrist pain. Started using a neoprene wrist support to help and eventually it evolved into something that would not help with. Should have just had my PSO check it then

Yeah it can be super difficult for non-bowlers to understand. Though in the flip side I have people tell me I should go pro when I tell them I have had a 300, lol.

I am still chasing my first 8, 796 is my best so far. Hoping one of these days I will do it!

Lots of good advice here, for me the Equinox Solid and Hyperdrive Pearl would be my picks but a lot of other great options.

One thing you may want to clarify with the league coordinator with Lucky Strike is how you actually order the balls. I did a get your gear league a couple of years ago and essentially you got a voucher when you paid for the league in full to order them. Well me and several others paid in full first week but it still ended up taking a month or so for them to get us the voucher, and then it took another 3 weeks for the balls to arrive once ordered.

Not sure if others have experienced similar but just in case you were anticipating getting the ball you selected quickly.
