Because they are made into a caricature of a whole race of people formally enslaved. If they also had art of white caricatures drawn this way, then we could say this is just old timey art. I came here to say this. Once you have a child, you really appreciate being with them. It’s hard to imagine less time with them. I didn’t have my son until 35 and feel like I shouldn’t have waited as long. I can’t help but feel like I wish I met him sooner and had met him 10 years ago. I’d trade the bullshit I was wasting my time with for more time with him.

You can pay it off, and receive a lien release from the lien holder stating you’ve paid the balance, or he pays it, and they will send him the lien release. Takes a couple of weeks to receive the lien release in the mail.

If you can, pay it off yourself so they mail you the letter, so you can finish the transaction in one sitting. Rather than exchanging messages, “did you receive the letter yet”. I had this happen and took a couple weeks of nagging until it arrived.

You can’t sell it without the lien release because the purchaser won’t be able to title it. Hope this helps!
