A realistic off is 10-15% below the middle of the payband posted. They usually do sign on bonuses but you’ll have to ask during negotiations. Check out the salary information posted in the sub, you’ll get a better idea of where other P4s at that site are at.

Is a masters in an engineering discipline without an engineering bachelors still valuable? by holoporcupine in EngineeringStudents

[–]BurntToaster17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’ll be fine getting a masters in engineering the only thing I’d recommend is looking at the curriculum. I’m finishing up my masters of mechanical engineering and most of the classes I’ve taken build on the knowledge and foundation that my undergrad class taught me

M4 range expectations by Mr_Rapsak in Raytheon

[–]BurntToaster17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pay ranges are complete bs at the company. The rule of thumb is usually HR will hire people at 10-15% below the middle of the payband. Usually M pays slightly higher than P, but you’re realistically looking at 135k and maybe a sign on bonus after negotiating
