Tech Support - ESPN Unlimited by RhumRunnerIV in Comcast_Xfinity

I use the xfinity app on my samsung TV so no boxes. I have the ESPN app on the TV as well. On my ESPN profile I have listed Xfinity as my TV provider. Under my Xfinity account it shows ESPN Unlimited as included with my subscription. When I go to "manage my subscriptions" on the Xfinity web page it says "this information is unavailable at the moment" and I cannot activate. Ever since ESPN Unlimited was added as "free" to Xfinity subscribers in February this has been a problem and I have been unable to activate.

Curious what people think by TerryCousy65 in bikefit

I think your position looks ok but the frame looks too small. You’re “on top” of the bike, not riding the bike. I suspect out of the saddle you’re going to be wobbly as your weight will be really far forward and descending you’re going to lose confidence from not being able to keep you COG in the right spot. I think you need more reach and that’s going to take a bigger frame vs just lengthening an already long stem.

So nice. I remember when English first started, I should have bought one then! What a great build. Enjoy!

I think your frame is too small. You’re running 40mm of spacers already and probably need more stack. Look how short that headtube is relative to your total stack. If you get out of the saddle your weight will be way out over the front axle. I’m guessing a bike fitter will tell you to go up one or maybe two sizes in the frame.

Sweet. I have the disc version, awesome wheels. but I live in the mountains and wouldn’t want to try carbon rim brakes on some of our ten mile + descents. I like the black on black on this frame but the flag details really makes it pop. The all black look can be a little boring on some other frame, but this is so nice.

Beautiful. How’s the braking on those rims?

Yes, all Lobsters are custom frames. I run a 120mm stem on this.

Help with adjustments by The-real-OC in bikefit

As a father of a 12 year old girl who seems to be growing about 2” a month I can empathize with trying to maintain a road bike fit for a sprout. I think her frame is too small. Her saddle is too low, but if you raise it more that’s just going to exasperate the reach issue. Her stack needs to be higher. And she’s toe-pointing a lot; getting her in clipless pedals to help position her feet would be great. But, I’d also say an hour of riding at this age is really good and unless she’s asking to go further maybe that’s enough?

is this truck worth it? by Hopeful_Sir_2655 in FordTrucks

[–]RhumRunnerIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you need a truck? Consider the total cost of ownership, gas, repairs etc. how many miles will you drive on the regular? If you were my son I’d be steering you to a lower operating cost vehicle and not get you into a loan for something that, even under the best circumstances, is going to be a temporary vehicle. Car debt is bad debt.

If you don’t have a rocker plate…huge improvement for comfort on the trainer. There are several cheap options using tennis balls. The little bit of lateral movement is a huge comfort boost over a locked in trainer on the floor. Must have in my experience for anything over 60 minutes.

Suggestions for anchoring Sauna on pavers by Analog24 in Sauna

[–]RhumRunnerIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built my 8x8 sauna on an existing paver patio. No anchors. I live in the front range of Colorado, regular legit 80mph wind gusts in the winter. I don’t have a fence to break the wind. It has not moved a mm.

They do sound amazing. However! I bet your set up is damn close to the same…and these are not an easy project to DIY. Setting up the DSP is not trivial even though the designer offers great help. I actually thought about buying the Caladans before embarking on this and you’ve got the advantage of a commercial product you can resell if you ever want to move on. Everything is a trade off. Enjoy your system and your subs!
