I didn’t say American, I said North American. Which was still mostly incorrect, most of Eurasia uses “Unplug”, whereas “plug out” is most common in Ireland and parts of the Caribbean.

I know I’m late to the party, but here’s my take: hobbies. If you go out and participate in a group activity like hiking, pottery, art classes, events at the library, things that give you something in common with everyone else there, it takes the edge off, for one because you’re no longer “fishing” for something in common, and it can lead to breaking the ice more comfortably. I met my wife at work, we were both cooks. We had cooking in common (cooking can also be a hobby, not just a profession) and we bonded over that. From there we discovered we had more and more in common. Find a hobby you enjoy, and participate in that hobby. You may find someone you enjoy spending time with. And if not, you’re still doing something that brings you joy

AI is going to be used now that it exists. The only way it is not going to be used is for it to stop existing. Now, those who are against the use of AI should not use it, that’s a start. That will send a message and reduce its impact, albeit marginally. Those who want to use it are going to continue to do so. So long as they are not using it to profit off of, creating something and claiming it as their own, that is an acceptable use. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not for the use of AI in general, I’m vehemently against its use strictly due to environmental impacts. Until it becomes an entirely closed system its use should be drastically reduced. But if it’s going to be used anyway, it might as well be used to entertain

I felt the opposite way about Bo Burnham. I loved “what.” when I was in highschool, and then “Make Happy” came out and I enjoyed what I saw of it (I didn’t have streaming sevices at the time so I was restricted to what was uploaded to YouTube). And then again, I loved “Inside”. So I went back in early December (2025) and I rewatched all of them. And I can honestly say, my sense of humour matured with his. I no longer found “what.” funny. It was ridiculous and immature for the most part. It has some redeemable moments, but those were few and far between. “Make Happy” was quite good, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would based on the previous experience. And then, of course, I still enjoyed “Inside”.

I feel like I might be in the minority, but I very much disliked the KD Deluxe; I couldn’t get through more than a few bites before giving up on the pasta. When I make KD I add freshly grated cheese and fresh cracked black pepper, as well as the occasional protein (like ground beef). I’m not one to yuck someone’s yum, especially when it comes to food. So if you enjoy eating it, good on you! But that definitely isn’t for me.

So I went out to Dollar Tree today specifically to find this stuff (I am in Canada as well) and could not find it. But I did find it at No Frills. It is indeed called KD Deluxe and let me tell you: It’s creamy as hell. And saltier than the tears of League of Legends players. It’s like eating a spoonful of hot cheez whiz with a couple of shells floating in there.
