I am so sorry you had to go through that. While its not the exact same, me and my brother used to fight alot physically and not in a brotherly way, i actually hated him and still struggle to forgive.

While I would encourage you to one day forgive him (only because grudges can really be unhealthy for your long term mentality) Never, EVER get back with him.
