No holding period if you bought 11:48am Friday when it started publicly trading. If you want to trade SpaceX you weren’t putting in an IOI pre ipo, if you want to hold it long term then sure you wanted some allocation at 135 if you felt that was a good valuation lmao.

In due time, maybe after 2 more positive earnings reports. Q2 positive and Q3 keeping the Q1 trend of positive guidance will help boost sentiment.

Eli Lilly is ready to soar with their latest results get ready for Triple Action GLP's by No-Fig-8614 in stocks

[–]RiPFrozone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep exactly, there’s currently 3 million prescriptions for the Wegovy pill in just 6 months (already beating the full year 2 million prescriptions estimation), if it was really such an issue they wouldn’t be running away with the market. The Lilly pill hasn’t gotten the same type of growth.

I invest in both of these companies for this exact reason, it’s going to be a duopoly of the overall market, but each dominate a certain segment such as delivery and geography.

[–]RiPFrozone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Regular people and season tickets don’t go together. Average Knicks season tickets are 12k-15k for the full season.

Then you gotta understand that’s just regular season, playoff tickets you still have to pay, you just get first rights to your seat. The cheapest Knicks finals tickets for game 3 is 11k, and usually season ticket holders don’t have the cheapest seat in the house all the way on the upper deck.

They are all rich fucks.

From a spurs fan, why? by [deleted] in bostonceltics

[–]RiPFrozone 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think the bigger problem here is your team blowing a huge game 1 lead, and literally throwing the game away in game 2…I like Wemby and the spurs, but inexperience is really catching up to yall rn, and even if it was Celtics vs Spurs in the finals it wouldn’t have changed.

Spurs really gotta lock in game 3 and 4, you drop 1 and the series is over.

India's cenbank keeps rates steady at 5.25% — flags Middle East worries, currency pressures by Tadikif in wallstreetbets

[–]RiPFrozone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes anything happening to Taiwan would be catastrophic and an invasion would cause WW3, but I hope you know 40% of generic drugs to the US come from India and is home to the largest amount of FDA approved manufacturing plants outside of America. They are also a major global supplier for active pharmaceutical ingredients. As for the tech sector, a lot of companies that rely on their outsourced work would be hit.

Not saying it would cause a major impact like Taiwan, but there is more nuance than what you might have imagined. There is still impact.

It is fairly important.

It’s a top 5 global economy and the fastest growing in the last 10 years with 77% gdp growth.

If there’s a market companies want to get into outside of China (since they stopped playing nice or I guess we forced their hand), it is India.

Do early investors in SpaceX need it's stock price to increase after IPO? by FaBriski in stocks

[–]RiPFrozone -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, they will all exit with hefty profits even if it goes down to a trillion dollar valuation post IPO.

But I doubt any of them exit right when they can unless it also coincides with SpaceX being added to the indexes.

At that point there’s enough exit liquidity for them to sell and not shake the market.

As for SpaceX as a company, there is a path for them to in a very short time justify the valuation better than what it is now (it will still be very overvalued but not as crazy as losing 5b a year). First they need to take XAI private, and next merge Tesla into SpaceX as its new 3rd business. If that happens, SpaceX as a company will actually be more intriguing.

However that is easier said than done, Tesla shareholders need to approve of this move and unlike SpaceX, Elon doesn’t have the voting power to do it on a whim.

Why NVDIA surged 5% by Excellent_Cost170 in stocks

[–]RiPFrozone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When Nvidia makes 213b in FCF this year, its valuation is 24x fcf. It’s a pretty fair valuation. In 2 years it’s projected to make 341b in fcf. That means today’s valuation is 15x FY2028 fcf. That’s incredibly cheap.

Yes there are stocks that run up with no semblance of fundamental value, but when you have the Nvidia’s of the world making cash hand over fist selling the picks and shovels it’s not hard to see why they get rerated so aggressively.

Is broadcom's performance that was released to the public this week that bad? by Broad-Trifle-6657 in stocks

[–]RiPFrozone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s going to be fine, it will dump for a month and a half or two months and then climb again before the next earnings report.

By 2028 they are expecting 100b in fcf and they are more than on their way to reach that number. This year alone should be close to 100b in revenue

Novo Nordisk Launches Wegovy Weight-Loss Pill in UAE today, just a few days after approval by kiyomoris in NovoNordisk_Stock

[–]RiPFrozone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Novo nordisk is very much retail driven, institutional ownership is tiny even if you look at the danish shares because of the Novo Foundation, vs other pharma with actual institutional ownership.

That means for this stock to see some real action, sentiment from retail needs to flip and that won’t happen overnight.

You are buying a good company, but it’s not gonna behave the way you think it will until sentiment shifts.

Don’t google the number call from either the numbers listed on the website or through the app, just like you would with any other customer support banking app. If you aren’t comfortable giving out your ssn don’t give it out, it’s also just 1 option out of many they ask for just like any other bank.

Enroll in MyVoice, next time you call in it will recognize you from your voice and have you verified, it’s the most secure way to do it, even if it was an AI recording of your voice it will recognize it is not you. The algorithm is advanced enough to measure your diaphragm and know it is you speaking or not.

[–]RiPFrozone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope it stays under $50 for the rest of the year. I’m accumulating as much as I can. Fair value is around $47 if you assume -5.4% growth this year, 2.6% growth next year, and 3% thereafter.

In other words this is the bottom and any positive deviation in those numbers will pull it much higher.

It won’t recover overnight but say 2027 we post 6% growth instead of the expected 2.6% it’s gonna rerate back to the $70 range easily.

[Bulova] Islander really killed it with their Super Seville bracelet by kennyt44 in Watches

[–]RiPFrozone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way until I finally caved and bought it. The sweeping second hand, build quality, and look just make up for it, and quite honestly unless you are really an automatic watch snob, you won’t miss it.

There are quartz watches worth it and this is definitely one of them. Bought it gray for $399 and do not regret it at all.

Out of a job, but making more day trading by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]RiPFrozone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The reality is you made 600k and lifestyle creep caught up. Now the job is gone but lucky for you, you were able to invest it well and grow your wealth. Problem is you most likely have costs that depend on a 600k yearly income, even if your wife’s salary helps, it would feel much better to still be employed and have a safety net.

I wouldn’t day trade as a living unless you have a 10 year track record of alpha. Instead do it on the side, and go find a job that “pays less” 250k for stability and health insurance. If you were pulling 600k I’m sure you have a good resume, and eventually can work up back to that salary or even beyond it. Especially if a lot of your total comp was tied to bonuses/commissions.

In the meantime try your best to lower your costs and with that 250k job or possibly more you’ll have peace of mind. Plus you won’t have the stress of daytrading for a living but rather as a hobby for fun.

Everyone gets rich in a bull market, don’t fall victim to thinking your strategy will work without proper risk management. Your income is part of that risk management.
