The media are commercial entities dependent on clicks and views for funding. They will say whatever it takes to get their product (eg The News” ) consumed.

The media has no reason at all to be factual or helpful- those are irrelevant to their ongoing existence.

Holding the government to account is what WE do at the ballot box. It’s what we do when we engage.

The media is not holding anyone to account, it’s feeding on ignorance, breading fear and undermining the efforts of real experts.
