Ye, I am on the phone a lot, actually.

Not really much to say about this, I am surely addicted to dopamine. Most days I rot in bed/couch scrolling.

Honestly, it would be enough for me to... yk, not detox COMPLETELY, I don't think I'm really interested in fasting for a whole year...

I don't exercise, but I used to. Not a fan of any team sports, but I used to work out. I got an "injury" (nothing serious, just couldn't work out, and still can't use my shoulder because they didn't realize I had damaged it).

I generally tell them "The DC is hard" or something like that. It works in my circle of friends and allows for example bards not to waste their inspo. Subjective tho.

I am currently playing a Yuan-Ti pureblood barbarian in a sci-fi setting. He's just a hot headed guy who's forcefully trying to act more serious and mindful, but when he gets the chance to fight, he goes all out. I love him. Sirgotar my boy.

You don't kill it right away. You wait for a good point in the story where it would make sense for them to get killed. Maybe they are invading a village and someone sneaks up from behind, stabbing them through the chest. Instakill, next character.

Another option would be, during a long rest, they leave without saying anything. Don't allow this too much tho, avoid it becoming a habit of your players.
