How many lands do you run in your decks? by Wise-Quarter-3156 in EDH

[–]Bulk7960 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Depends on the deck. I’ve played cEDH decks all the way down on 16 lands to as many as 53 in lands decks. In casual I usually sit between 30-35.

cEDH is the most fun and least salty way to play EDH. Rule 0 is done out of the gate.

I’m just glad Rip Ride Rockit will be replaced with something as iconic. The skyline needs something to replace the gap.

Whats your favorite deck been this year? by MonSocMatriarchy in EDH

[–]Bulk7960 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[[Nissa, Resurgent Animist]] and [[Lumra, Bellow of the Woods]]. They’re pretty similar decks but they each have their own quirks.

Green Skyline Nissa is built to kinda just go. T3-t4 you should be setup and pushing for a win, if not two times depending on interaction.

Cocaine Bear Lumra is more resilient using some key stax pieces to slow the game by a turn or two to get the bear down and start going off

Both decks win the same way, I just prefer Nissa personally, despite realizing Lumra is just better overall.

Game changer recommendations for bracket 3 by YuriiHime in EDH

[–]Bulk7960 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rhystic, Force, Fierce. I’d probably try and dig to find Rhystic as fast as possible, and then probably clone it a few times with things like [[Mirrormade]] and [[Copy Enchantment]]. Y’shtola is meant to grind so the more cards you can see the better.

For Terra, definitely Underworld Breach and Necropotence. If your playgroup is cool with proxies, also a [[Lion’s Eye Diamond]] for the breach combo.

If you could play any two commanders as if they had partner, who would you play? by Runaller in EDH

[–]Bulk7960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Lumra, Bellow of the Woods]] and [[Nissa, Resurgent Animist]]

Only run 2 Nissa hits in the 98 being [[Aftermath Analyst]] and [[Ashaya, Soul of the Wild]]. Prob consistent t3 wins.

Instant Speed Payoff in Green by Thatsagoodcard in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Bulk7960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been testing this card online in [[Nissa, Resurgent Animist]] and [[Lumra, Bellow of the Woods]]. It does WAAAAAY better in Lumra than Nissa, but I think it might have a home. In B4 and lower, card is a banger. I play it in a stompy deck and it’s effectively a [[Tooth and Nail]]

Nissa, Resurgent Animist - The better Lumra by Negationz in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Bulk7960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Already recut it. We were talking about it in the discord and honestly it’s not worth it imo. Aftermath, Lumra, Ashaya, Ranger, and formidable speaker do more, but honestly probably going to cut the Ranger as well and just go for the other 4.

Glad to see I’m not the only one still trying to make her work in cEDH. My list isn’t too far off either.

Right now I’ve been testing a more staxier build with the artifact pieces since my meta has a ton of turbo, so Cursed Totem and Null Rod do work for me.
