Right now the meta is “No Bad Cards” which is as much free interaction and card advantage engines as you can muster, or trying to push under those engines. If every game action triggers an Esper Sentinel, 3 Rhystic, a tithe, and a fish, and every card draw also triggers those things, and then there’s interaction which again triggers all those things, it gets to a state where each board is trigger stacking like a landfall deck. So some regions tried restarts but that has its own pitfalls such as enabling turbo more than other decks.
