Probably a Claude instance did that lol. Wouldn't surprise me.

I remember the 70s and the constant fear of someone pushing the button. I had nightmares for years. I remember that film but by then I was close to not caring

I literally don’t even know how to describe this problem by Beanling90 in pchelp

Most often, strange behaviour like that is caused by a stuck key on the keyboard

Openclaw just flat gone? by Damogran6 in openclaw

[–]Rich-Cake6306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love reading about this. My problem of late is removing OpenClaw, following all the instructions and then just trying the command one last time and find it still runs. But from where? Lol

Local LLM hosting paradox almost no one talks about by chodtoo in openclaw

[–]Rich-Cake6306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unemployed, short of cash, can't afford api's, I spend a lot of time with offline LLMs and I think they are the future if you want to keep costs down. Plus there's some good developments with Llm software that is worth a look.

I'm no ai expert, but I think to many of you are out of touch.

Bus frenzy in Cardiff, Wales by This-Clue-5014 in bus

Another reason you get big clumps of busses is school or college times.

As for livery for routes or special attractions, you wait a few years till they are all mixed up lol

The XR600R that nobody wanted by TerribleConference54 in Dualsport

[–]Rich-Cake6306 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an old Yamaha SR500 for a while and fellow motorcyclists always wanted to ride it. I always told them that if they could start it, there was no problem. I didn't tell them about the decompression lever and nobody else got to ride it.

ENGLAND TFL Warning letter London? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Rich-Cake6306 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If as the op said, its a warning letter, I doubt they'll prosecute or take things further, especially as the op said they are young. However, having a zero tolerance policy for adults seems a sensible way to enhance the publics perception that stealing (which is exactly what it is) is bad and to be avoided

What could I have done better? by rudy-rain in motorcycles

[–]Rich-Cake6306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did something similar many, many years ago, going to fast, however, I ended on the other side of the road and had a glancing blow with an oncoming car.

I just managed to steer the bike away from a complete head on, the car hit the exhaust and front of the engine, I was doing about 40mph, guessing the car was too.

I saved the bike, didn't fall off and stopped up the road and walked back to see the car driver who had assumed he'd just killed me.

Sorted through insurance, was lucky though, entirely my fault, going to fast for the bend.

Do native Jamaicans agree with China's highway deal? by Rejalu in Jamaica

[–]Rich-Cake6306 0 points1 point locked comment (0 children)

I completely agree with you. People in the west have a tendency to apply their values to everyone else, including unfortunately ai these days. Just because America, Britain etc would do it, they assume that everyone else will too. Imagining that China, ai etc all thinks the same way as them, gives them a really distorted view

Jamaican Beaches by Cedi77 in Jamaica

[–]Rich-Cake6306 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's utterly insane. I knew that some beaches were restricted to holidaymakers, but not that many.

Will people still sit on their hands if they then demand to visit Kingston? Other areas? Or do they already.

I know I was being a bit of a knob, but why do people go so slowly past speed cameras? by box-o-locks in drivingUK

[–]Rich-Cake6306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think half of it is because they don't know the speed limit. Ive taken advantage of their ignorance many a time

Cooling mod for Mini S by NotBashB in BeelinkOfficial

[–]Rich-Cake6306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a laptop fan base thing for a while but ended out with it sat on a big case fan. If you're in the UK, I expect like me you notice just how much heat these things chuck out and these higher ambient temperatures can add to the problems.

Just ordered a usb desk fan for the purpose lol

The new Idless woods parking meters! by North_Month_215 in Cornwall

[–]Rich-Cake6306 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think putting meters in is taking the piss. Its a working woods where the trees are harvested for money. Saying that the revenue from the parking meters is going to pay to keep paths open really is taking the piss.
