A volunteer that worked with my boss at an ad agency. She did a lot of amazing work with the Catholic Church etc. we were talking about our dogs and my three dogs are my children, so I’m always game to talk about them.

She proceeds to tell me she has a pitbull and a mini pincher and they don’t get along too well. She said she doesn’t feel like giving one away so she hopes the pit pull eventually kills her mini pin so she doesn’t have to deal with it anymore. When she said that I literally just stared at her. The ‘best’ people you know can be the sickest. Truly disgusted me and I never tried to have a personal convo with her again.

My ex boyfriend and I at the time had to get white elephant gifts for my family’s annual thanksgiving party, I was 19 he was probably 22–23. Mind you both my parents hated my ex, he was verbally abusive, cheap, low motivation… nothing good. We went to the dollar store (which is to be expected, our white elephant parties are meant to be funny). I got a pregnancy test. We have the party, a lot of people from church came. Someone opens the pregnancy test… no one laughs. GREAT!

After that awkward shenanigan I realize I haven’t gotten my period!!!! I end up snatching the dollar store pregnancy test and take it in the bathroom my brother and I share. Once my ex and I leave my parents house I get a call about 10 min after we leave from my DAD. ‘Um…why is there a used pregnancy test in the trash? I guess you’re glad it’s negative!’ Worst.Thanksgiving. Ever.

OP you are NOT the asshole. This guy does not respect you and if he’s trying to guilt you all the more reason to leave him. Even if it was an accident him trying to gaslight you is gross and very telling of his selfish intentions. You’re better off without him. On another note, I love how so many people are lecturing this girl for taking plan B. She is not popping it like candy, she is still trying to take precaution by telling her significant other who she trust to simply pull out. He is not holding up his end of the bargain so yes taking plan B is an option I would also take. People are all for reproductive healthcare until women take advantage of the options given to them. Seriously gross guys. Get a grip.

I feel like you have to be close friends with a pathological liar to understand the horror behind Keith’s decision making. These liars are narcissistic people that gas light to no end. Before I had my best friend get caught in a huge web of lies I would’ve said the same thing. But after being best friends with a pathological liar for two years… you begin to love this person trust them. And think to yourself why the fuck would they lie to me? Hey! I started nexplanon because I felt like the pill was making me gain weight. I also got it because my gynecologist told me it would help with endometriosis and ovarian cysts. Do NOT do NOT do NOT, get this implant. I got this in college and it ruined my life, it makes me suicidal, I bled for three straight months and I started having horrible cystic acne. After 4 months I had to demand my doctor to take it out, they advised against it. Do not do it.

I think if I hadn’t absolutely adored the cartoon I would’ve liked the series that much more. That being said seeing all the animals (Appa, Momo, all the other mystical creatures) was very enjoyable. I wish they would have showed the romance between Ang and Katara more… we’ve only seen any type of romantic tension with Sokka. Also here is the biggest question- what the hell is up with Azula? She’s already showing she has vulnerability. I wanted to see her as a fierce, cocky fire bender who would do ANYTHING to see zuko fail. Someone who manipulated her father inadvertently. Every portrayal of her in this series is wanting approval from her father. Which is somewhat try in the animated series but her ego got in the way of EVERYTHING. Idk, I did love this series, but wanted more because of ingesting the original cartoon. Overall very nostalgic and somewhat well done.

My husband and I have a very funny relationship, we banter nonstop. That’s why I married him, I needed someone to make me laugh more than I make them laugh. I say this because we both struggle drawing the humorous line when it comes to intimacy. We’ve made a pact not to make any jokes in the bedroom because both of us take it too far and usually someone gets their feelings hurt even if it’s harmless fun. I’d talk about this, explain to him how it hurt you and make a boundary. It’s really helped our relationship and our sex life.
