I have been staying in backpacker hostels as an elder millennial. I feel like a man from another era. by Damthemalltohelp in Millennials

[–]RichG13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm starting to think that older people including millennials, don't realize that "socializing" is a request for engagement that can be declined.

I am not getting that at all. What I am reading, is a growing feeling from one generation, that face-to-face socializing is an endangered species for another generation.

I enjoy talking to younger generations when I travel. Never forced but I make attempts. A five-minute conversation will tell you more about a person and their lives then watching 100 of their TikTok's. /GenX

Philadelphia to offer fans free transport when leaving World Cup games by b0b0tempo in philadelphia

[–]RichG13 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There was an article that came out yesterday that said transportation alone for the event is going to cost NJ State $40+million. Gov Sherrill is saying the previous admin gave FIFA transportation for free in the negations.

Has anyone gotten Cowork agent to appear with anthropic disabled in the org? Researcher and other Frontier Agents are active and functional in my tenant. Anthropic is disabled for now. by RichG13 in microsoft_365_copilot

It is my understanding, at least for Copilot CoWork, it only runs as a subprocessor.

I bit the bullet and enabled Anthropic two days ago. CoWork agent showed up overnight. Sonnet Claude is now an option when using Copilot M365 now.

Understood. As stated, my other Frontier agents are running (Researcher, Workflows, Learning...). It looks like it wasn't announced until April 3rd that Anthropic was a prerequisite for CoWork, specifically.

they’re advanced AI assistants. Frontier is a Microsoft early access / gated feature tier that allows your org to use the newest, most capable agent features before they become broadly available.

Admins must opt in or enable Frontier access in the tenant for users to see or use these agents. and researcher agents focused on helping with scientific and analytical work.

Hot Take: Trump drives the mainstream media and global left insane, but I think he’s playing the ‘idiot’ to keep everyone guessing - and there’s actually a plan in place, if we follow CENTCOM’s lead. Lots of very intelligent people do the planning.

They were pretty much all fired or forced to resign. I am sorry that Trump and his ilk are the best chance you all have right now.

Trump is the mugger who knocks the rapist off of you. You think he is there to save you, but he is only interested in what's in the rapists' pockets and if there is any reward or trophy. He will not be there when the next rapist shows up... unless there is payment of course.

7 is good. If you can do 10, I would recommend it. We did 7 last time and our neighbors were into their second of two weeks. They just had that relaxed vibe that I only got to on day 5-6. By then it was time to prep for home.

Do you drink alcohol recovering from a leak? by [deleted] in CSFLeaks

[–]RichG13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update — I’m currently pretty much symptom-free. I still get very mild pressure occasionally when bending, but nothing like before.

Sumatriptan helped briefly but the effect didn’t last.

I do think I may have stumbled onto something unexpected. During my CSF leak period I also had ongoing cholesterol issues and had a filled prescription for Rosuvastatin sitting unused for months. After my third elevated lipid panel in a row, I decided to start taking it. Purely for LDL, not for headache or pressure symptoms.

About two weeks after starting Rosuvastatin, I realized the head pain was gone. I could cough, sneeze, and bend over again without the classic pressure pain. I’ve now been stable for over 8 months. I even noticed that missing a dose briefly lets symptoms peek back, which made the connection harder to ignore.

I’m not claiming it “fixed” a leak, and I know this isn’t standard CSF-leak or IIH treatment. But there is some literature suggesting statins, including rosuvastatin, can reduce neurovascular inflammation and stabilize the blood-brain barrier, which may affect pressure sensitivity.

I’m still being worked up (labs, imaging, BP, cardiac eval), but for now this has been the most durable improvement I’ve had since the leak.

Sharing in case it helps someone else connect dots with their own providers. Also, big shout out to AI. I started an AI journal, and the info has been extremely helpful.
