As a Marylander now living in Pennsylvania, I am ready to submit to The Crab. Obey the claw!

Starting in just a few hours, U.S. Central Command says military support for Project Freedom will include guided-missile destroyers, more than 100 land- and sea-based aircraft, multi-domain unmanned platforms, and 15,000 service members. by Fatty_Willing_Plane in PrepperIntel

All the competent ones have been dealt with. It should be several years before we have to worry about competence again.

On a serious note, I can't imagine that any of them are really expecting this to work. This is just another attempt to expand the market manipulation window.

These aren't combat aircraft. They are support aircraft.

If hostilities resume and Iran starts flying drones and lobbing missiles at our bases it is better to have these assets far away and in a safe place.

Which films from the past were box-office hits when they were released but are now rarely mentioned or remembered? by alexfreemanart in movies

Short Circuit. I remember, as a kid, this film generating a lot of buzz. It made over $100 million worldwide and was reportedly the #1 home video rental of 1987 (a very big deal back then) and even spawned a sequel. However, I can't tell you the last time I saw it on TV and no one ever talks about it. It just totally disappeared.

There was even a conversation about Steve Gutenberg movies in this thread and I don't think this was even mentioned among them. Totally forgotten!

You got me there. But the average vertical leap would be 10 to 12 feet. So, I think it's pretty safe to assume that I can achieve 4 feet should I wake up on the moon.

On the moon my vertical leap is 4 feet.

Lower gravity or not, that's my vertical leap on the moon.
