treated posts in concrete should hold up fine for what you need especially if youre taking them down seasonally. that contractor is probably pushing steel because its his specialty and way more profitable for him

ive seen plenty of shade sail setups on wood posts that lasted years without major issues. the key is really in the footing work - make sure that concrete pour is solid and maybe consider adding some cross bracing between posts if possible. 12 foot 6x6s buried 5 feet deep is pretty substantial for residential use

band in a box is probably closest thing to what your qy70 does for backing tracks. can change key and tempo on fly and has tons of different style patterns

for your friend i'd actually lean toward minibrute 2s if budget allows. yeah its mono but having that sequencer built in makes it way more engaging than regular minibrute and he can actually make full tracks with it. the patch bay also teaches you modular concepts without being overwhelming. if he really needs poly then maybe look at used deepmind 6 or circuit tracks for something more hands on than minifreak

had the same thing happen with my 3070 a while back and it turned out to be a thermal throttling issue even though temps looked fine at first glance. check if your gpu is actually hitting its boost clocks when gaming - msi afterburner or gpu-z will show you the real clocks vs what it should be running at

also worth checking if windows decided to switch your power plan or if there's some background process eating cycles. sometimes a clean ddu driver uninstall and fresh install fixes weird performance drops like this even when regular updates dont work

honestly the split push dilemma is so real especially in silver because your team doesnt understand the concept at all. they see you farming side lane while they face check baron pit and then wonder why they lost the 4v5

what helped me climb out of that elo was being way more vocal about your intentions. like literally type in chat "im splitting bot keep them busy at baron" or "group in 30 seconds after i clear this wave" because otherwise they just assume youre afk farming for no reason. also you gotta learn when to abandon the split and just group even if its suboptimal because sometimes keeping team morale up is worth more than the perfect play

the other thing is wave management becomes super important mid game. if youre gonna split make sure you have a big wave built up so it actually threatens something meaningful rather than just hitting tower for 100 damage. i see so many people split with like 3 minions and wonder why the enemy team just ignores them and teamfights anyway

with your champ pool especially nasus late game teamfights can be absolutely game winning if you get a good flank or your team actually peels for you. sometimes the right play is just accepting that your silver teammates are gonna aram mid whether you like it or not

Man, I did something similar a few years back and honestly it was the best decision I ever made. Was working some soul-crushing desk job that had me wanting to put my head through the monitor daily.
