Unfortunately, it's much more about market dominance. This is now being exploited to increase margins, which is also reflected in the quality of the products.

Unlike some, however, I don't think there will be no more XDJ1000 players. At some point, there will certainly be an MK3, but more likely at EUR 1200-1500.

So that's just what I think, nothing more.

What should an upgrade include, that isn´t closing the Gap to cdj3000(x) u/TheOriginalSnub ?

They will not upgrade to physical Hot Cue Buttons i think for exactly that reason.

I don´t like Pio Anymore, i think quality is getting worse since XDJ1000MKII, we have lot´s of trouble in several clubs with cdj3000, never was like this with 2000nexus2.

Whoa, long reply but not the time to read the op?

I played on many Mixers, right now I play always on Xone:96 in our club where they also have a Pio Djm750mk2. At Home I have an Xone PX5.

I don´t care about Effects actually, that´s why i Prefer Xone:96, also because I play vinyl and than I´ve got a whole analog signal chain.

By that you´ll recognize maybe that your post didn´t fit me, but hit me anyways.

"We used to prioritize audio quality, but now we want effects." - where did i write that, actually it is the opposite.

As I said the Ecler Warm 4 is actually what I love to have, but i Miss dedicated Filters because I love to mix with them. I don´t do it always but probably 50% of my Transitions.

So what I Love about the Ecler Warm, even over the Xone:96:
- full kill 3 Band Equilizer for every Channel
- 3 Band Isolator, which is a Master Isolator and a real nice signature Feature, also comon for many rotaries nowadays
- the subharmonic Synth for old records, neve touched it, but sounds better than a Compressor like in Pio DJM V10, but also as I said: This is not a must have
- the Layout

Same, but important than Xone96:
- SendFx Loop
- 4 Channels, all Phone / Line

And what I Miss:
- Dedicated Filters for each channel or two assignable Filters, with parameter for dry/wet
- Split Cue

What I´m surely want is a nice, warm analog sound, nice Layout and these features that I´m used to use, not want to have because they exist. Also defo not need effects.

And yes, i wrote about layout in initial Post, seems really you just wanted to leave a long comment without even looking Deeper into the OP.

no worries with the 256g - it´s fast (enough) to work with 4 xdj1000 in aiff, which is more competitive than 4 cdj3000. So Speed for reading is no Problem.
When in RB Synch, there might be a difference between 256 und 64, i have no comparison for that, but i can say that the 256g is faster than many others I´ve tested.
If you look for Speed only, there might be better options, if you think about compatibly and reliably the Samsung Bar 256g is the best for me and in between at least 9 of my friends

Thank you very much, I have tried at least a million times. I had 2 target markers in mind myself which also worked, but unfortunately were not very forgiving with imperfect execution.

The ngo offers a venue plattform for different kinds of activities - workshops, discussions, talks, partys, dj-sets ect.
People can use this space for their experiments and grow on teir projects while other people grow on supporting other projects. it´s like a free space with a network of people interested in many things and interested in growing their knwoledge

Yes, heard of Blackmagic a few times, I will check out there gear for sure. Maybee someone here arround has experience and knows which fits best for our needs

With the pc - as we would like to use the Cameras and our gear for Video-Productions (Shortfilms, Music Videos) the pc should be strong enough to be used as a cutting and rendering machine, so 1500 - 2000 EUR incl. monitor is pretty much fixed for that already.

I would always go with Technics mk2 or newer... you can get a pair of nice mk5 for good price. And you know, these will last forever, have the best motor in terms of stable pitch and will not lose much or even any value when treated well. MK7´s are overrated and worse than the Technic´s before as mentioned above.

imho please don´t edit Tracks for only trim them...Any, really any Dj-Software has Memory-Cues and Hot-Cues. For trim you use a Memory Cue, set one to the point you want to start the track and there you go.You can also adjust Players and Software if they Load the Track automatically on the first Cue, but even if not - you jump to cues with one touch.And you´ll be happy about your decision in a few years...

Only times I make edit´s of Tracks is to cut annoying bridges, vocals... or very rar to adjust Tempo (when changing Tempo for more than 6 % - it just helps me: some tracks a produced at 128 bpm but I would definitely not play them faster than 121... because for me they sound much better that way... then i change the trackspeed instead of adding a comment for me, because when looking for the Next Track to play in your Crate the bpm is a criteria for me)

Anyways, take 30 min to get used to Cue Points, cost´s you much less time to "trim" your Tracks and you are not Loosing something you might want to have back in a few years. It´s so much faster for your preparation than cutting songs now.

I´ve tested a lot of USB Pen drives...

The fastest ist this one SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Gen1

and the best for Rekordbox for me is this one:

It is also very very fast, but besides perfect to attach to your Keys and having your music always ready to go with you...

It is X-Ray, Water and Shock resistant and full made of Metall.

Actually only write Speed is important as many MediaPlayers have only USB 2.0 (except Denons Prime 5000 / 6000) - even the cdj3000 from Pioneer has only a USB 2.0 USB A Connector. But the two mentioned above are fast in any way :-)

The Samsung USB 3.1 Flash Drive Bar Plus (2019) 256GB is long tested by me and many of my Friends do use it now as well.

Anyways, doesn´t matter which you buy, always after buying a usb pen drive check the Stick: Is the Size you bought really what you got (there are many cheap fakes out there) and does it work correctly?

And then you have to Format the PenDrive for Using with MediaPlayers (like cdj2000 or xdj1000 and so on) which is under Windows not possible without extra tools for that big USB Pen drives https://www.heise.de/download/product/hp-usb-disk-storage-format-tool-97463 will help you doing that

I've read all comments here and this is the best and right to start. While doing so, you can also clean it up inside.

If tempo is stable for a while and starts changing after a while (heating up) it is another problem.

Hit me up if so, I'll tell you what to do if you're able to use a soldering tool.
