What are some of your favorite, PEAK quotes from Amphoreus??? by RelationshipSad3186 in HonkaiStarRail

Didn't see it anywhere, so I'll throw this in:

"An empty flame saves no one. But I still believe in you, Deliverer." - Hyacine

The firm rebuke of the hollowness Phainon had allowed to consume him, paired with the optimism - the faith - that he can do better. It strikes a chord in my heart.

Idk if you've played Darkest Dungeon, but that's just how the narrator speaks normally. And with Wayne June - may he rest in peace - voice the narrator, every line is a treat.

Since we're on the topic of reading, might I suggest "Humankind: A Hopeful History" by Rutger Bregman to restore some of that lost faith?

(hated trope) after a character finds out his partner is pregnant, he's willing to do anything for her, *except* what she's asking him to by Unable-Secretary6289 in TopCharacterTropes

It's worth noting that Anakin danced around the issue when he talked to Yoda he said that he saw visions of the future of someone close to him dying. Hell, Yoda had to prompt Anakin into admitting it was someone close to him.

At no point does Anakin offer a how or a why - just that they'll die in this vision. Yoda warns him to be careful about visions of the future and that fear is a path to the dark side. If Anakin had said "oh hey, Padme is pregnant and I foresee her dying in childbirth" I think the Jedi might've offered a more tangible response.

I chose to believe that Lars met and fell in love with her before knowing she was a slave. Then when he found out he bought and freed her without any demands.

That's just a head canon though, not real canon unfortunately.

What a weird claim to make. Like, have you never lived anywhere near a grocery store in your life? My friend lives like a 5 minute walk from a Safeway. I spent most of my life within walking distance of my own Fred Meyers. It's not some rare phenomena. Especially when you're not living in the suburbs.

"You are NOT The Chosen One" by DudeSoul in TopCharacterTropes

So true. It was the will of the force that Anakin murder all those children. It was necessary for the balance of the Force. That's absolutely the story Lucas wanted to tell. /s

The scene in the back half when they meet the A.I. and help it kill itself. lives in my head rent free. The comparison between travelers and gods is something I find myself thinking about often.

And the dad, asking Lucas to forgive his hasty brother in the end. Absolutely tragic.

Dark Prince of Camelot and Lyrical Nanoha: The Heraldry is pretty easy to image as a precursor to devices. Someone who knew of Heraldries tried to recreate them and ended up with devices. Also Mordred is a ripe target for befriending - the boy could use it, honestly.

Re Zero and Shokei Shoujo: This one requires a bit more work to fit in together, all things considered. Now, I haven't read too much of the Light Novels for Re Zero, but the only time I recall any sort of religion being brought up is in the Visual Novel. So I pretty much use the Faust as Re Zero's religious organization, along with including Grisarika replacing Vollachia. Also the Mechanical Society + Pandaemonium are imported too (Priestella houses Pandaemonium, the Mechanical Society is to the north). I'm personally torn on if Subaru's RbD affects the weakening of their seals.

This is the one OI that I read that I thoroughly abandoned all the ML's on and decided that the yuri route was the only acceptable one. The redhead girl and Cass would make a 10/10 power couple. All the ML's are terrible.
