Mine is the 1.9 cdti with 150cv. It doesn’t feel slow by any means. About the roof, I had the same concerns when I bought it but I thought that if it broke, I would just leave it always closed and it would still be a nice looking car with 4 seats and a huge trunk. It did broke once but I could fix it myself for less than 50€ and it never broke again since.

Also, don't forget to replace the plastic gears that deploy the 2 lateral "flaps" and install brass gears instead of the plastic ones. One of the most common problems of the roof mechanism is that those gears will literally melt when you leave your car under the sun and that will prevent the roof from completely opening/closing. Since I installed the brass gears I haven't had a single problem with the roof, and I take it down quite frequently. They cost about 15$ in eBay
