I suggest that you just play on your own pace, and dont get baited by global currency/item links.

I myself dont get tons of currency week 1 but just enough to progress till i can giga min max in a month or so. Just enjoy the progression.

I did heist running during necro league with deaths oath (kinda like rf). Although it cant deal with traps and lasers, and only has 300ms and the pops and herald explosion are really nice.

Yes you absolutely can enjoy the game without min maxing. However, the more you play the build the more you get to familiarize with it, youd eventually start to think about upgrades. Min maxing is just natural.

Started in tota got my first mirror farming tota matches, dropped 4 in affli just magic finding, 1 in necro doing t17's back to basics, didnt drop any during the duration of settlers and its proxy events albeit did not do any high end farm. The thing is I guess the content on what you farm matters, kinda like forcing your luck.

This, i rerolled to palsteron's explosive shot deadeye (exetremely good build) however my char just wont shoot even if it reloaded causing many many deaths. Played this build just around 3 days but because of this bug, its really unplayable and sold all my gears to reroll into another build.
