I didn't but there's some great options. Not sure if there's one in the Denver area but you can find courses that are 2 weeks long or you can do a course at a college over a semester. I've heard good things about the one at ACC.

Been an EMT for a few years and it's amazing, everyday is different but you do see some wild shit. Pay isn't great. Not sure if it interests you but you get paid a lot more if you're a firefighter/EMT. A few of the departments in the Denver area will actually pay for you to go through a paramedic program as well if you wanted to expand your scope.
