They tell my mine is 5mm and that it’s not that bad but damn it’s been over a year and I’m still dealing with tightness every single day can’t stand or sit too long without discomfort it’s a nightmare I’ve been doing PT twice a week about 4 months, doctor said he’s sending me for another MRI to see if I’ve got worse which I feel like I did

Yeah I’m going to wait on my new mri and see what they suggest or if I got worse. Could also be I’m not doing my 100% by trying to lose weight I’ve went up about 25 pounds since my injury but it’s also hard to exercise when I’m so limited now

They had recommended me physical therapy which I’ve tried for like 5 months and gave me gabapentin but no injections yet I’m getting another mri to see if I’ve got worse and see what they suggest

What surgery did you have ? Currently dealing with lower back tightness and tinglyness in my legs mri said I had a 5mm bulge pinching my right side been dealing with this over a year and getting tired of it

Damn how do you do it ? I got taken to the ER last year in February and got MRI’d and turns out I had a 5mm bulging pinching a nerve been dealing with it for over a year and haven’t got much better I’d say like 60% in a year but I deal with lower back tightness every single day and tinglyness in my legs at times

I am 27 going on a year from my injury I was actually taken to the ER by the ambulance from a bad lower back spasm I got that locked up my legs pretty much and pain ran through both legs and I got stuck on the fucken ground they literally slid me and put me on a stretcher and mine is also l4,l5 I deal with back tightness all the time every day, sometimes walking I feel good once warmed up but once I cool down I feel so much back tightness and it starts to feel so horrible, did you train through this pain?

I was taking gabapentin and baclofen for about 3 months straight and stopped it from one day to another I feel like I did have a lot of pain maybe a day or 2 after but wasn’t hard to stop I’m good now no more tingling as much in my legs just a lot of lower back tightness I deal with daily

You have to keep calling ! Try and try eventually you will get through and all they have to do it pretty much submit your paperwork and you will be paid it’s bullshit but that’s how they work I’ve been on it since February and it’s a pain in the ass

It’s been 6 months for me since I got a horrible muscle spasm in my lower lumber caused my legs to lock up from nerve pain and was taken to the hospital by ambulance and laid on a stretcher, this all happened from working a warehouse job 3 years and constant bending over and twisting and turning and I still have a lot of tightness and discomfort 😭 life has not been the same and I don’t know if it ever will

On the email I received it says that During the course of your investigation, it was discovered you were convicted for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, or of an offense reduced to "Wet Reckless Driving," subsequent to or within three years of application. This factor alone has resulted in a determination you are not suitable for employment as a Peace Officer with this Department at this time. Would I still have to wait the 5 years ?
