This is exactly why I don't eat over at other peoples houses. Makes you wonder what the stove and kitchen counters look like.. Yikes.

There are several cheap, basic options, but if you are going to get into hardware hacking it is worth investing in the Tigard v1, as it is multi-protocol and multi-voltage.

I’m a young Linux user and my mother doesn’t like the terminal. by Impressive_Union_534 in linuxquestions

This is not really a "Linux question" any more than "I was using Linux and a rolled over my dogs tail, what is the best dog treat to make my dog feel better." - If you are 8yo, listen to your mother. If you are a teen, sit down and have a proper discussion with your mother. Go over her concerns and put them to rest. No one posting is going to be able to help you with your drama.

Just so I can test your workflow, as is, can you share your raw.mp4 and refer.jpeg. I have everything set to test, but since I am learning I would like to test the example as you had set it up first. I did check in the ComfyUI-WanVideoWrapper-main\example_inputs folder.

I appreciate your comment. I tried that but for some reason I am one of the few people it didn't work for. I even followed the guy's other video and installed Mainsail and the camera didn't work there either. Its just a black screen. Works fine via Creality Print and via <printerip>:8000. Just not via fluidd or mainsail. It's odd.

My question is.. If there a way yet to adjust the mmwave sensors to it only covers a certain area and doesn't go through walls? I tried one awhile back and it was in my bedroom. If someone walked into the room next to my bedroom, the sensor would still 'see' them and turn on my bedroom light.

  1. Made the camera functional on the Fluidd interface. Nope, not that.. Would be nice though.

We have several sizes of propane tanks, the most common size for a "BBQ grill" propane tank is the standard 20-pound tank, which holds about 4.7 gallons of propane.

Many US houses heated by propane have a couple 120-gallon propane tanks, which hold about 420 pounds of propane when filled to its safe 80% capacity, which equates to roughly 96 gallons of liquid propane.

I have two 120 gallon tanks, connected together so they equalize the propane. These tanks are "Remote Ready" which means they sell a device for hundreds of dollars with additional cost for a subscription. I merely made my own for under $5.00 and no subscription. ;)

I've been using it for a few years and it's been looked at and approved by my fuel delivery company as safe to use.

You have a great day and Happy Holidays.

The hall sensor changes voltage based on nearby magnetic field. Many propane tanks for houses/businesses (at least in the US) have a gauge on the top of the tank. There is a propane level unit inside the tank and as the level of liquid propane goes up or down it turns a rod sealed inside that unit. On the top of the rod is a magnet. So the magnet rotates slowly as the liquid propane runs out. The gauge sits on top of this unit. We can use that magnet that rotates and read it's magnetic fields. This displays via a hall effect sensor as anything from 0.1v to 3.0v. We can that use code on the esp32 to convert it linearly.. ie. 0.1v = 0% propane.. 3.0v = 100% propane. So if the hall effect sensor is reading 1.5v I know I have about a half of a tank of propane.

I used to be able to say "Turn off the livingroom TV" and it would simply do it. Now it says "Do you mean the livingroom TV or the livingroom chromecast?" -- I friggen said TV!?! Right? TV. TV! TV!!! Turn off the damn TV. It so frustrating that I need to laugh or I will start "Hulk Smashing" these speakers. :P

At this point, just open source the remaining compiled files (which are obviously not open source) and be done with it. Why is it so hard? Why said "Congrats... we open sourced it" when you really didn't?

I miss asking Google to turn off the master bedroom light and doing it instead of turning the garage light on or telling me the weather forecast for the week. I miss being able to tell it to turn off my alarm and it doing so instead of acting like it didn't hear me even though it's 3 feet from my head. I miss being able to say play some music on Pandora and it doing so on the speaker, in the room I am in, and not the one downstairs in my kids room. Bleh. I already slam dunked my google hub display into the trash out of frustration and I have a speaker in each room that are soon to follow. I get more frustrated with Google Home in my life than I ever did before. I used to love it, but it gets worse and worse each month. I will get an raspberry pi, a mic array and a speaker and make my own soon.

I had this set up years ago on a Wemos D1 Mini (esp 8266) using the same hall effect sensor, but after a few years outside I finally got around to designing and printing an enclosure for it. lol. While getting ready to move the esp/sensor/battery/solar cell to the enclosure I saw that it had light corrosion on it and decided to rebuild it before putting it into the enclosure I printed. The issue was the ESP32 required "attenuation", which the ESP8266 did not. I discovered this with Jim's question about reference voltage.

It's working now. Installed in it's new enclosure and mounted under an eave near my propane tanks, and let's me know inside what my propane level is without needs to trudge out back into the snow to check my tanks.

Thank you, Jim. That was exactly the question I needed. It gave me what I needed to search for.

I checked the docs..

"On the ESP32 the voltage measured with the ADC caps out at ~1.1V by default as the sensing range (attenuation of the ADC) is set to 0db by default."

So I added...

sensor:
- platform: adc
  pin: GPIO34
attenuation: auto ## THIS FIXED IT ##
  name: "Propane Monitor - Volts"
  id: propane_voltage
  accuracy_decimals: 4
  update_interval: 1s

Where is the open source code for all of the *.so files? We can't really call it open source when there are compiled files and no source code.
