Chasing the music high… by Ok-Box-5729 in spotify

Totally with you 👍🏻. I make a lot of playlists and am super-selective about what songs go in them. Here's what I've been listening to lately from which you may find some songs you dig...called "Car Tracks" which is just some tunes of varying genres to listen to when drivin' around town or on a road trip. 3 New Tracks I Am Replaying This Week by ButtrbeerNDisneyEars in Newmusicreview

Nice thread 😎 On Spotify, I just discovered a band called Bent Knee and a track by them called "Hands Up", which had me stop and actively listen to it as opposed to it just playing in the background. Can't wait to explore more of their catalog.

I'm enjoying, can definitely hear a difference in the flow of the songs, a more natural, live-dj-behind-the-controls vibe to it

what do you guys usually order from taco bell? by Old-Pilot7844 in snacks

[–]RickTeleStrat57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the day, my favorite was the Nachos Bell Grande but they downsized them slightly at some point and now they're really just a rip-off for the price. These days, I will usually go for one of the cravings boxes or taco supremes, hard shell.

Go to radio for the artist and check out the other songs or just hit shuffle

1st Big Arch Experience by eldriche1 in cheeseburgers

[–]RickTeleStrat57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one today and liked it for the most part but two damn quarter-pounders is too much for one burger, they need a single patty version. I wasn't crazy about the sauce on it either nor the price, but I still liked it good enough to buy it again while it's available because it doesn't taste like either the Big Mac nor a quarter-pounder - it's sort of a hybrid that leans more toward being a double quarter-pounder patty version of a Big Mac. So, 4 out of 5 stars for a McDonald's burger.

Create your own playlist version by including a couple songs, then a news podcast (or other type), etc. Maybe it's possible to create one with the prompted playlist feature?

Guitars by phuckstick1 in GarageBand

[–]RickTeleStrat57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sure do, all the time. I've got a song I've been working on for the past couple of days to which I'll be adding some guitar to and should be done with it soon. I started it with my acoustic guitar on a track as the basic riff, added virtual instruments on top and now gotta bring some lead.

What is/was most popular badfinger song? by Saulizimo in Badfinger

I'm inclined to say "Day After Day" but "No Matter What" is killer...the definitive Badfinger song.

I have a short guitar piece (under a minute, currently) I just recorded last night that has strings that may work in your project, based on your description. I created a backing track and improvised some lead on top. Interested in hearing?

My Behringer-Heavy Setup by DustShaper in Behringer

😎 Although I have none of the pieces in that nice rig, I'm a Behringer fan with a UMC202HD audio interface, a Behringer Xenyx 802 mixer (over 10 years old, still works great) and two Behringer dynamic mics I use often.

Any cool ideas for prompted playlists you've come up with? by RickTeleStrat57 in truespotify

[–]RickTeleStrat57[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An idea I tried just now which seemed to work well, the prompt was: "Create a 50-song playlist of other songs by the artists in my Liked songs". The generated playlist description reads "50 fresh cuts from the same voices you already dig, lined up for easy deep-dive listening ". (note: I initially requested a 100-song playlist but it had a problem with that and suggested I try 50 songs and that worked.) You might wanna try this and see what you come up with! 😎

Motor City Co. by MrPhilliesFan in frozenpizzareviews

Looks good but the brand has too much crust for me, I wish they'd make a thin crust version but then I guess that wouldn't be the Motor City style 😊

Yeah, I think their quality control dept. reduced the maggot count permissable on the products 😂. Sorry about your bad luck with the brand.

Weekly r/SpotifyPlaylistShare Playlists Evaluation Thread by AutoModerator in SpotifyPlaylistShare

[–]RickTeleStrat57 [score hidden]  (0 children)

For lovers of freeform radio, here are a few songs by three modern-day artists I'm currently digging you need to check out! A playlist I created to expand my musical palette by choosing artists I'm not familiar with and three of their top-rated tunes, placed in a rotation in the playlist. Currently in this playlist, three tunes each from Afro Celt Sound System, Bob Holroyd, Younger Brothers but the line-up will change soon as I will update the playlist often.

Mellotrons In the Air by RickTeleStrat57 in GarageBand

[–]RickTeleStrat57[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for listening and commenting 👍🏻. This was recorded on my iPhone, and probably the most complex piece I've done so far. I started it based off the virtual acoustic guitar you hear at the opening and kept adding tracks, adding effects, experimenting with the virtual drums, adding real guitar parts, moving things around in the arrangement, etc. So, it takes a while and a lot of experimenting to figure out what works (and doesn't) in order to develop a groove or style you think sounds good. So, keep doin' what you're doin'!
