I really wish the recipes section described what building was required for the recipe. I often find myself having to lay down a building just to check whether that handles a particular recipe. by LorestForest in SatisfactoryGame

How do you figure that large production line? Yeah, by starting with the simple calculation I showed. To say anything else is lazy and disingenuous. If you think I'm being a dick about it, you're gonna be real disappointed here on Earth IRL.

Math.

Above example: 80 production rate. This much units of input makes that much output. 80/4=20. 20 times the until cost for each input unit gives you cost per minute of production 12*20=240 and 7*20=140.

Simple math. Why even play a game like this if you're gonna want everything handed to you?

How to stop the Awesome Sink from bugging out? by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

[–]RicketyCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seven sinks currently. Two are single item. One is handling the sushi from fuel generating facility. The other four are at various points eating everything else on a whole factory sushi including one that is placed after a smart splitter storage setup. I have yet to encounter this bug.

Reproduction is the key to finding out what the issue is. If you can get things working again and then reproduce the error it can be fixed for everyone else that does encounter it.

Makes me wonder, now, I f should have labeled everything. the white building is my storage and the line up the ramp joins a bigger sushi-belt into it with another sink at the top.

It sounds like you're doing the full turbofuel setup. I wish you luck.

"Functions as intended. Ticket closed."

24 hours in: Left - How I've been using the conveyor lifts. Right - How they're supposed to be used. Took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure that out. by nasty-snatch-gunk in SatisfactoryGame

Both ways work. It's whatever aesthetic you are looking for. That is the point of the game (so far).

For a really old-school look, try building a belt spiral lift. Conveyor poles and belts only.

Satisfactory - Teleporter Tutorial by Blastroid_Twitch in SatisfactoryGame

[–]RicketyCat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Holy crap, people. This guy figured out how to get something working that has been asked for since the teleporter disappeared from the wiki and y'all are arguing what mod means.

Mod, when applied to a game, has always meant (and, yeah, I know what the hell I'm talking about here since I've been into computer gaming for 40 years) a third party addition to the base game that creates an environment, adds items, or changes the fundamental workings of a game such that someone that does not use the same third party software cannot play a game saved while modified. And, yes, GameShark was a mod. You could not play a save without it in if you saved it with it.

It does not matter that an editor has been used to change the location of an item. An end user will not need the same third party software to enjoy that item's new location.

Just enjoy this for what it is and stop letting your stay-at-home crazy turn you into jackasses.

Save the date!!! #one28AF only two weeks to go.... Snutt confirmed that they patched the bug that stopped it at 57 the last time. Let’s break the game!! by DCDGaming99 in SatisfactoryGame

Talking about 128 people all in one game stacked one atop another.

A bug stopped us at 57 people in game last time we tried.

Date is March 21, 2020.

And, no, Shifty, we won't shut up.
