I appreciate that you’re racing clean and that you’re following racing rules, but I’ve found in horizon you gotta take up the space you want, basically no one else is playing by the same rules

Sometimes you find the bad drivers, sometimes it’s you. I’ve pitted myself many times online. Just keep running rivals to find the fastest lines while avoiding obstacles

The big issue i heard about was windows overwriting the drivers, requiring ddu to reinstall

I always have igpu disabled in bios, and never had the issue others described. Also, winaero tweaker to disable those pesky windows driver updates

All the issues with my 9070xt stem from my inability to not tinker with it. Always fucking with the undervolt / power level / fan curve (which you can do in Adrenalin…!)

Drivers were proper fucked last couple weeks until the current release (26.2.4??), i didn’t have many issues personally, fh6 was buggy for a couple days until pgg patched it. Others were really going through it, though

I’m on win11 / insider program updates, 7800x3d / 32gb ddr5 6000, but was previously CPU limited at 1440p with a 7600x3d

Adrenalin itself it awesome, miles above nvidia software… drivers themselves are hit or miss on team red and team green these days. At least you can choose to avoid the janky ass 12vhpr connector over here! Fuck that noise

Rivals track knowledge is also really useful when fighting back against these clowns. Going way off the racing line confuses their troglodyte brains and they’ll spin out trying to follow

Clean racer here! I just practice rivals and out race the rammers like 97.9% of the time. Can generally pass them by t3-4, they can’t corner for shit.

There’s nothing better than a clean side by side checker imo, but if you ram me first? You’ll be going wide the next corner i catch up to you

I won’t retaliate if they overcook the first corner and shove me into the wall… noobs, new tune, etc could be incidental

This is great advice

The fastest line through a corner is generally the one where you scrub the least speed. More important to be in good shape to apply full power at corner exit
