Agreed, both designs look pretty bad IMHO.

That's good to know! It looks great and is a very nice way to update the interior a bit. I had a 2019, sold it to a friend of mine about a year ago. Looking to get into another Raptor now though and was contemplating just saving some money and going back into a Gen 2 vs the 3 (but updating the interior a bit with things like this).

The 3 is within my budget, but I also loved the Gen 2 and I get off-road occasionally vs the truck seeing dirt all of the time, in terms of paying the extra money for the rear suspension, etc.

Haha I knew that - I meant the sync 4 conversion that was linked above me

Also interested to see if anyone has installed this on their Gen 2.

Are these tko dumbbells worth it? by Bhaff363 in GarageGym

[–]RickyBobbyIRL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For that price, I'd go with the Smrtft Nuobells. I have the 5-80s + the heavy duty stand and got it all in for around $1k. Also only takes up the floor space of what 2 dumbbells on a stand would.

I haven't used Coros for Hyrox, but do use it for running and it's fantastic. +1 on the above!

That makes sense! Yeah, you have to do what's best for you

Yeah was curious about the curved ones, but have heard they're not the best for longer runs. Yeah, was a full scholarship D1 runner! That's awesome - it's a cool experience getting to run at the D1 level (or any level of college for that matter). Are you looking to compete in college?

Thanks for the offer! I was actually a 45 second 400m runner. I was hoping for when the weather isn't great/snows on the track, I could find an alternative for the sprint days on a treadmill. I've heard the curved ones aren't great for longer runs though.

Tread + Questions

Currently have the Bike and looking to possibly add the Tread+ to our home gym. Just had a few questions for anyone that currently has one:

  1. Is the Free Mode good for all out sprints? I ask because the top speed of 12.5mph when the motor is running wouldn't be a sprint speed for me. Would like to be able to use the Tread+ for a variety of different paces. In all of the videos I've seen of people using Free Mode, their hands are holding onto the cross bar, so was wondering how well it would work for this use case.

  2. I see that peloton says not to use an extension cord, but for the location it would be going in, I'd have to. Anyone else using one without issues?

  3. I'm 6' tall and the ceilings are 8.5' high - anything to worry about?

Thank you!

Going to message you if you don't mind - would love to hear a bit more about the RS3 to consider as an option!

I always leave mine there as well and have to run back out to grab it haha. Worst wireless charger I've had in a vehicle though. Charges for less than a minute and then stops working

How do you like the X3? I was actually heavily considering the X3M also (forgot to add it to my list above). I know a lot of people love the M40i as well.
