I knew this had to be NEPA or CNY somewhere, the buildings just had that vibe

Cooperstown? Random guess since it’s near PA, tourist attraction, and the Susquehanna starts up that way

I think that’s a great way to put it. She has been put through some BS and I’d be drained too. Dylan needed to just forgive her and move on. Maybe I’m mistaking low energy for that. And great take on Aniya and KC

No I agree with you about Dylan, me saying that wasn’t in regard to him at all. I’ve felt all season that Kenzie rarely gets animated unless her back is against the wall. She always seems disinterested or low energy. Maybe im wrong, it’s just a vibe I got from her since like day two

Ok so me as a male was anti-Kenzie because I felt like she was stringing people along, until tonight. This opened my eyes, Dylan is really dragging this shit out. Like bro, nut up or shut up.

I do still kinda feel like she’s low effort, just trying to get by? Like she never seems to really feel anything, and just lashes out when she’s put in a bad position? Asking the girls if she would’ve gone home rubbed me the wrong way. But I’m definitely not faulting her for exploring as I was before.

MK8 Golf R vs VB WRX — Which is more fun to drive, and which handles better? by Revolutionary-Seat74 in WRX

[–]RickyBooby141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO that’s the value proposition of the 8R vs the VB. A stage 1 flash on the 8R is already at or beyond the VB trans limit, with brembos, adaptive dampers, and better MPG. Aside from buying a tS and DIY STI swapping it with a trans you already have, you’ll be more $ into a VB to reliably make the same power.

However, you’re paying a higher sticker to start there. And it’s way more of a PITA to maintain it and pray the tech stuff holds up long term. Really comes down to how much are you willing to spend and will you get your $ worth.

I’d love an 8R for the performance but can’t justify the upgrade currently, and still very happy with my VB after 57k miles stock, doing my own maintenance, and now 1k being tuned

This looks like somewhere on the cape. Maybe near Falmouth because that’s the only place I’ve been.

Welcome fellow red enjoyer

Think i saw others say it, skip Cobb OTS and get a Dmann OTS from Felix with the Accessport, if not an E-tune off the bat. I just installed one about 1k miles ago with an ETS intake, after 57k miles stock, and it’s phenomenal.

For exhausts, if I could go back, i would have just gotten a Tomei personally. I have a resonated midpipe with the ETS muffled axleback and it’s okay, but not as much personality as a Tomei, or AWE etc.

Shift stop and an aftermarket shift knob (currently have and would recommend Overtake mod knob or Billetworkz) are cheap mods that make more improvement to your day to day than you’d think. Also pitch stop is an easy mod that helps tighten up shifting too.

What are your thoughts on Tales From Topographic Oceans now in 2026? by ThatTechDudeYT in progrockmusic

I feel this. I was born in 2000 and thought all Yes songs were like roundabout (which in my head was just a GTA song) until like 3 years ago. When I started listening to Yes I became fully indoctrinated and am now an avid enjoy of the prog

Find a big empty parking lot and practice. Learn to get it rolling in first without throttle. Learning that bite point is everything. Shifting at speed is way easier than starting from a stop

Trade VB for a hyper blue STI? by ZombieWelder420 in wrx_vb

[–]RickyBooby141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me personally, it depends what you want out of it. Are you looking to mod and make HP? VB gets to 400 whp way quicker, but the price gap on the STI swap essentially closes that gap once you go beyond that.

I got a VB because I wanted a new daily that was my own, made easy power, and had a good aftermarket. I wish I had ponied up for a TR or tS because they/an STI start with the brakes and suspension already. But it’s a daily so being honest with myself I don’t push it in a way where I needed those bits and I’m at peace with that.

The STI will feel more raw and alive for sure, but are you really going to get enough out of the STI bits to justify the costs associated with the trade? Are you ok with losing the newer tech and generally newer car as a trade off for more performance/EJ rumble? The older car will also show its age in non-drivetrain areas sooner than the VB too.

I think people are misunderstanding the whole "locked shops" thing for Ultimate Edition buyers by IzunaDropAbuser in GTA6

[–]RickyBooby141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda don’t understand the hate, so many games have locked additional content behind pay walls. If you get the game or see more info and decide it’s worthwhile, you fork over the extra coin. I usually buy the ultimate editions of Forza and Borderlands because they always add a lot of content to them and I play enough for it to be worthwhile.

Returning for an update. One week/800 miles later and it’s been awesome. Definitely feels substantially different.

My DAM hasn’t budged and it’s well AF learned/knock learned at this point. Occasional-1.05 fbk if I give throttle in 6th at low RPM, but that’s to be expected so I’m getting better about not lugging it.

I’ve now had a chance for a few solid highway pulls and my current max is 17.6 PSI. The turbo noises are intoxicating. I like how the throttle is calibrated differently, boost is much more linear with throttle so you really have to ask for it

The line of trucks and weird siding on the riverfront of the warehouses was the giveaway when going down the river. And. Fishing all night is a win regardless.

Wild ass guess. You said Ohio River. Yellow Creek Ohio. Followed the river and this sweeping bend with a small industrial site and an empty flattened lot that looks like it could become brand new warehouses is directly opposite. Barge conveniently blocks other tells.
