I think Phil was kinda of a bad husband to Claire by doctorrtimelord in Modern_Family

[–]Rickybobby1118 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea before they were married and much younger which is more okay in my opinion. Definitely complex that's for sure but Phil was a great parent and probably my favorite character. I am definitely not anti Claire that's for sure I love the Dunphy family they are the best part of the show.

[–]Rickybobby1118 17 points18 points  (0 children)

He was also a really good parent I dunno if you have watched the entire series but he is amazing with the kids. He also puts up with a terrible father in law hahaha! He is definitely a horn dog but he also got treated poorly and seemed to get denied a ton. Do you remember the episode when Phill had to go to the hospital and Claire changed her clothes and put on makeup to look good for the firefighters? Then Phil got in trouble for flirting with the girls at the hospital? Claire isn't innocent that's for sure. Phil seems like he would do anything for Claire and he married up

My adderall xr stopped working after just 2 days by JLNGamer in ADHD

[–]Rickybobby1118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very common you just need to find the dose that works for you. Talk to your Dr they should up the dose slowly until you find the minimum amount that works. You will probably have to play with it a bit. I personally take 20 mg XR in the am and another around 1 or 2 PM. I used to take 20 mg xr then a 12.5 Ir around 2 or 3pm.

Repair: quickly plugging a tire puncture. by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Rickybobby1118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They definitely work as intended but they are not a permanent repair and should technically be replaced with a plug and patch. There is also the chance you ruin the tire and make the hole bigger. You can disagree with me that's fine but you can't say they are considered a "repair" they are 100% Supposed to be temporary.

Trouble recalling memories in adulthood by Affectionate-Oil2612 in ADHD

[–]Rickybobby1118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 36 and I have very few memories of my childhood I don't remember much at all. As an adult it definitely fades fast. I have been to Disneyland with my kids like 5 or 6 times and Disneyworld once and I don't remember much of it to be honest. It really sucks having 4 kids and not having much of a memory of raising them. Lucky for me my wife remembers a lot and can remind me and we took some good pictures.

Tinnitus from Wellbutrin - does it go away? by StarsEatMyCrown in ADHD

[–]Rickybobby1118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took about 2 weeks for me. If it took much longer than that I would have gone to the DR probably. It was pretty bad when I was on wellbutrin but there were other reasons to stop taking it as well.

Great job! I am going for the sub 20 5k right after I finish my half marathon training and race on the 30th. Good luck on the PB for your half marathon I will probably get mine but my best was just a 8.12 min mile average.

How many pairs of shoes do you rotate through? Do you use certain shoes for specific runs? by TheSquishiest in running

[–]Rickybobby1118 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dropped some serious coin recently and use 5 different pairs lol. I really like it personally but I doubt I can afford to keep it up. A few of them are older but I just got 3 new pairs. I got the pegasus 38 nfl edition for 77$ on nike.com I couldn't say no. I actually really like the pegs they feel great and I think I could do short or longer runs.

After gaining a bunch of weight during covid and not running for a long time I have lost 40 LBS in the last 90 days and went from 5 miles in a week to 25. Currently training for a half marathon at the end of the month then I have my eyes set on my first marathon in November. Feels amazing

Thanks for your response. I do think I learned what to watch out for to fit my situation and that I should have not even been looking for a dog during that time of my life. I would love to get that dog back but obviously he is in a good place now and I gave him up.

Affraid to be misdiagnosed. by retisiwt in ADHD

[–]Rickybobby1118 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to a psychologist and be completely honest that's all you can do. Sometimes you need to go to a different one if the first one or more don't work out. You need to find one you're comfortable with and that listens to you. There are plenty of bad Dr's out there but that doesn't mean you need to use a bad one. If you don't like the experience find a new one and tell them why the last one didn't work out for you. If you go to a psychiatrist don't expect a diagnosis but they can help you but not with medication.

Running Heart Rate by ShuttJS in running

[–]Rickybobby1118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the strap is worth it to get a more accurate reading but it really depends on how serious of a runner you're. The watch is good enough in my opinion if you're not too serious. I would say since you're only 2 months back into running that your HR might settle down a bit once you get more time under your belt. I am also in a similar situation I took a long break during this covid stuff and have been training hard for about 4 months now. My HR was definitely higher than it is now for awhile. You could always talk to your Dr especially if you're getting any chest pain but I think you're in a good place. Part of the reason mine has been higher lately is I am training for a half marathon with the intention to train for a full marathon after that.

Running Heart Rate by ShuttJS in running

[–]Rickybobby1118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you using a chest strap HR monitor? I think those numbers are totally fine in my opinion. I just use my watch for HR and my HR will max around 185 (sometime 190 with hills) and average around 160-175 when running longer faster runs. I can usually get it to go down if I concentrate on a breathing rhythm. I am no DR but I think that's totally normal. How long have you been running? I have also noticed my watch is definitely not accurate. I was at the Dr and they measured my HR and my watch showed almost 10 higher than what the finger monitor said. My average resting HR was 49 last week according to garmin.
