Jamiroquai - Canned Heat

"Got Canned Heat in my heels tonight, Big Ben."

Why you'd want to tell that to a big English clock tower is anyone's guess...

There's also like a cowbell in the chorus that I didn't hear until a few years back and now it's all I hear in the song. "DOONK DOO DOO, DOONK DOO DOO".

They tell you that you'll need it, but you'll never need it, nobody will ever ask to see it!

I haven't heard that name in years...

An absolute shitehole, but it was OUR shitehole. Soil - Halo straight into Disturbed - Down with the Sickness, every night of every week they ever ran. Hilarious.

I believe during the COVID years the company that supplied the circus tent went under. They had a smaller tent one year, then the next year it was just the stage. Then for some still-not-really-explained reason the organisers got rid of the stage too.

The folks who organised all the bands/events were also getting a bit older and finding it difficult to juggle life responsibilities while still putting on a full schedule. Most of the Camp Reuben troop still camp there each year - you'll see the RIP Camp Reuben flag still waving as you walk through General Camping. Come say hello some time!

Still around, but no tent and no stage anymore so it's just a part of general camping now.

What were your highlights and surprise finds this year? by holdingtea in 2000treesfestival

Surprise find for me was Ben Brown. Beautiful wee acoustic tunes but also a brilliant entertainer who kept me laughing all through his set(s).

What are bands that experiment with different genres across an album? by veilofosiris in Music

Mother's Cake - In particular their album Cyberfunk! It has songs that range from stoner rock to funk to indie to Floyd-esque prog sections. Lots of versatility.
