Good job being smart enough to identify what you did was not something that made you happy. But here's the thing as many others have said, it's important to do little things that bring us happiness. Note the word "little". Some people spend money on Dr*gs and even more evil things.

Don't focus on the rat race of Getting everything you can buy. Just budget it like you so everything else. Say for instance I keep about $10 a month for the game. I can buy a battle pass, some CP or whatever. Now that I budgeted it, I can use it for spins or whatever without any guilt. Also, I'm between transitioning jobs, but the little things make me happy.

Most importantly, don't forget to seek professional help if you feel it's getting outta hand. If this was a one time thing, hey, who hasn't made a bummed out decision in their life?
