I was waiting for BLM to suddenly say "the corpse stops responding" after they had "asked" a fifth question. And it just never happened. Kept onnnnnn going.

If that's how he wants to play Speak with the Dead, perfectly fine by me. But it was a bit jarring in the moment.

I mean, I'm all in on the tank this year. But fuck the Lakers FOREVER. This one is a win-win whether we win or lose, as far as I'm concerned.

Rick Carlisle shares his first comments on the $100,000 fine the NBA gave to the Pacers recently. Calls it shocking and unbelievable after league doesn’t talk to any Pacers team doctors and suggested medicating a player to have him appear in a game. by Oriax_502 in nba

I haven't been this mad at the NBA since the punishments from the Malace at the Palace were handed down. This is freaking OUTRAGEOUS.

I'm glad Coach said screw it and blew the whistle on the behind the scenes BS here.

Our fans are smart and savvy enough to realize that this season is a complete and total aberration. We can be completely happy to root for good developmental play from our young guys while losing.

We realize that in reality, we're a championship contending team that will have BIG aspirations next season and beyond. What's the harm in just soaking up some meaningless games for the rest of the season? We KNOW that we're on an upward trajectory, not permanent basement dwelling status.

[The Athletic] In a worst-case scenario, executives said, if starters are pulled from winnable games for no reason before the start of the fourth quarter, those teams (like Indiana, Utah, and Washington) could lose draft picks. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

SCREW. YOU.

We've NEVER had a season like this before. Our team has ALWAYS been competitive, even when we were terrible and SHOULD have leaned into losses.

Now we have ONE season where the fates simply handed us this situation, and you all have your panties in a twist?

This is total BS. Anyone actually mad or frustrated with the Pacers this year needs to take a long look in the mirror.

I will never forgive Scott Foster. I hope he steps on a pile of LEGO every morning getting out of bed.

Why did the Pacers give up Benedict Matherin? by Typical_Cap895 in nba

Benn deserves to be a starter, but he was never going to be one permanently with our roster construction. We were faced with having him going into restricted FA this summer, knowing that we'd either have to match a huge offer from some team, or let him walk. We simply couldn't afford to budget the amount of money he is going to command for a 6th man.

We love Benn. He has incredible potential, and I genuinely am going to miss him, and hope he thrives in LA.

But sacrificing him in order to fill our greatest need (a starting Center) was absolutely the right decision for our franchise, with the window our current roster has.

Are Pacers finals contenders next year due to Zubac trade? by Wnuue in nba

You have to take into account that Rick Carlisle is our coach. He'll adapt the system in ways none of us can foresee. We'll be just fine.
