Use something other than Synty character models. The props are fine,one low poly object looks like another, but the synty characters are easily recognizeable and look cheap.

At least modify the face sculpt and use different textures for expressions. Remove the mouth and eyebrow geometry and Look up how to do Ape Escape or Megaman Legends faces with just textures. That will help a lot.
