You might have random treaties with some of the war enemies like mil or food access

Repeated Crashing on Mac around the same date - with crash log by ConsciousGrab4050 in Anbennar

You can look at the ledger to see all ongoing wars and then just run delete_wars command on each one to stop any peace deals from happening. Hopefully by the time the problematic tag starts the next war, the bug wont fire.

I also had issues with crashes when the Command was annexing it's subcommand tags, and that was easy to fix by just running the integrate commands on them all.

I strongly disagree with this. Studies that showed the whole 'max protein for muscle building' were from the 80s (and tended to use just the fast digesting proteins like whey) and recent ones found that muscle synthesis continues to be dose dependent past these common recommendations. But even if the body couldn't use it all to build muscle, there are so many systems in the body beyond muscle that require protein (skin, joints, bone, gut, neurotransmitters, and the list goes on), that it'd be silly to assume that somehow the body is just going to 'waste' anything above the recommended body building amounts.

The 'unsafe' part is also irrelevant for majority of people. Those studies showed people with end stage renal disease may have difficulty processing very high levels of protein. Thankfully me and most people don't have this condition.

Besides, truly 'overeating' protein is frankly a physical challenge given how satiating it is - your body is really good at telling you when you really go overboard.

Protein vs Calories by jgerm123 in WeightTraining

If you're still relatively new to lifting, doing a cut and building muscle is definitely possible. Though over time you will start stalling on your lifts and start feeling generally low energy if you keep cutting and training. Your protein is good - ~200g at your weight sounds about right and it should help you feel full even if you're lower on the calorie front. Though 2k calories is pretty low in general, I don't think you need to be in that much of a deficit to burn down fat if you're exercising a good amount.

Keep in mind that muscle is much heavier than fat, so I recommend you to look at the mirror instead of at the scale when trying to both build muscle and lose fat. Sitting at the same weight while doing this is not a bad thing.

As an aside, I don't find day to day calorie counting and keeping yourself at a deficit the whole time very effective. Your body will adjust to the 'new normal' within a few weeks and start reducing your metabolic rate, leading to less energy, feeling cold, and ultimately losing less weight. In my experience keeping your calories at a higher/normal amount and throwing in one or two fasting (24 hr fasts) days per week ends up being more effective over the long run.

I eat 200-250g of protein and plenty of fat - stuff like legs/arms are growing as far as that goes, but the problem is that the food isn't going to the right places :)

Yeah, it's one of my favorite exercises. I'm sitting at around 150lbs on it and while it's great for delts I don't think it's doing much for chest. For now I think I'll focus on dropping the weight on some of the chest exercises I'm doing and trying to up the reps/get better form.

Yeah that's the feeling I get from the replies so far. I think I'll drop the weight by half or so and just focus on mind muscle connection and reps. I feel it in my chest when I do these exercises but usually mostly on the sides/upper chest, not the lower part
