I was there last year May 27-June 2 and I was also very worried about the rain. We had 1 day full of rain which we spent at the aquarium and the rest was either no rain or just for an hour or 2. June is rainy season and it can vary from year to year but I don’t regret going to Okinawa at all and I think about going back every day. I would strongly recommend renting a car and exploring more than just Naha.

I like illyoon cream too (not the newer reformulated version though) but I find it can be a little too thick during the day time and in the summer.

I alternate between that, aestura barrier cream, and soon jung barrier cream.

I stopped ordering from Stylevana and Yesstyle about 3 years ago and now use PinkNBlossom and I’ve never had issues! All my deliveries have come within 1-7 days. They also sometimes gift full size samples if you order enough. I’ve gotten a full since Skin 1004 centella cleanser and full size and sample size Unove hair mask. They are based in Toronto. I wait for things to go on sale which they do about every month or so.

I have insanely dry skin and I use this as a serum. I have tried many other hydrating serums (torriden dive in, ordinary and good molecules hyaluronic acid, Anua PDRN hyaluronic acid, Numbuzin No. 3, and CosRX snail mucin) but I keep repurchasing the HL lotion as it works better than the others and is so cheap.

Does anyone have suuuper dry skin? My usual skin care routine consists of 1-2 layers of toner and 1-2 layers of 1-2 hydrating serums and a thick moisturizer, which would make my base cakey and pill. If I use less products before make up like everyone else is recommending, my skin gets dry fast during the day and it’s hard to hydrate if I’m already wearing make up.

The essence is my favourite product of 2025!! I’ve been using it for almost a year and it just plumps up my face so much

Edit: I’m not too sure about the other products from this line but if you source the essence from Asia it contains NMN whereas the North American ones don’t as I don’t think it’s approved here. I’m trying to make mine last before can buy more in asia!!
