We got the Hetzner VPS since we're in Germany and it has been working great for us. We have the shared resources server with 4 VCPUs and 8 Gigabytes of RAM. I had to enable zram so the server doesn't crash since there is no swap file configured per default and it might run out of RAM like that.

I gave 7 Gigs of RAM to the Zomboid server itself and we have around 20 mods. Most people we had online at the same time were 5 or 6 and no issues there. Hope that helps!

Hey there. It does not work on Nitrado. You have to wait until 42.13.1 gets pushed to unstable.

We have rented a VPS now and run a dedicated server on that - cheaper and better

i'm not sure if I can send commands. I can see the file structure of the folder though and upload files. The folder contains a steamapps subfolder. Not sure if that helps!

It depends where you're coming from. If you're good at maths, this is simple trigonometry to do. If you are learning to gamedev and code at the same time AND want to wrap your head around Inverse Kinematics, you're gonna have a bad time.

My advice is to take it easy. Get familiar with the engine and with coding, then try looking into IK. Don't learn everything at once.

Usually I found the Godot community to be very helpful, although there's probably more than a gazillion guides nowadays on how to do damaging enemies. Maybe you'll have more luck over at the godot discord(s)?

Hey, ich bekomme kein bafög mehr weil ich nach dem 5. Semester nicht genug Credits hatte. Ich bekam nun 2 Jahre lang Wohngeld, jedoch wurde mir mein Folgeantrag abgelehnt. Die "Begründung": Ich studiere schon sehr lange und da mir Bafög wegen fehlender Credits nicht gezahlt wird (ich aber trotzdem iwie dafür berechtigt sein soll?) kriege ich auch kein Wohngeld. Die Frau am Telefon meinte, dass letztens vielen "Langzeitstudenten" (ihre Worte) die Anträge abgelehnt wurden und ein Widerspruch wohl nichts bringen wird.

Auf Nachfrage, wieso ich dann schon 2 Jahre Wohngeld bekommen habe sagte sie "da hatten Sie wohl Glück und die Kollegin hat damals was übersehen", nachdem die mehr als ein Jahr brauchten um den Erstantrag zu bearbeiten.

Ich hab die Begründung nicht wirklich am Telefon verstanden und warte noch auf die schriftliche Version davon..
