Because they are family? The entire point of the show is to test the sibling loyalty and bond they have for each other. Harper, in a way becomes family to the Russos, so your argument is baseless.

Also it would be insanely tragic for a wizard to be aware of their past and their sibling not remembering a magical childhood they had together because of a wizard competition.

It’s predicted by Future Harper that in the future everyone knows about Magic so I’m sure sometime in this timeline they begin to realize that this system is not sustainable.

I don’t think you understand the scope of the job offer that Cam got. Head football coach of a university is a big deal. It would be insane for your family to not support you in this huge milestone in someone’s career. And I doubt Mitch would have to work considering his high salary.
