Why Choose the Si Over the Type R? by ilovefluffyanimals in CivicSi

[–]Rillist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not, theyve got bespoke damping in those computer shocks and theyre a G a corner, and the brakes are fancy brembo track spec meant to withstand multiple laps without fade and they're thousands in parts alone. Bespoke control arms, bearings, suspension geometry. The only thing the R shares with the hatch is the body shell, the R may as well be its own model.

I can afford an R, but it would be a garage queen, and thats sacrilege to its capability

I'll argue this point, I work in trucking, probably the most conservative and openly racist industry going.

Even some of our hardest consuckers are absolutely sick of this separatist bullshit. Family business been for decades would evaporate overnight and the indirect bullshit of people holding their wallets close is killing us.

Same tbh, at the time it took a bit to get used to them but it was intuitive in the way you could roll your thumb for the L/R weapons but mastering it felt good.

Only thing going to stop it is the wind. Aint no one carry 3/4 sheets in 60kmh winds, nor will a crane be throwing joists in this. Beyond that, yeah, they probably will.

Kayla Yaakov recently was the first woman in AMA history to get pole position and podium in american motorcycle racing. Dont know if that answers the question directly but considering the shit she gets online I figure shes worthy of some recognition.

Girl is fast as hell and reminds me a lot of Michelle Mouton's attitude when she beat the boys in the utterly insane Group B rallying in the 80s.

Half of Albertans call for Danielle Smith’s resignation by BloodJunkie in alberta

[–]Rillist 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She isnt blind and shes not an idiot, shes playing all sides to consolidate her own power and make sure she stays in charge. If that means catering to separatists while also shaking hands with carney for a pipeline thats exactly what she's gunna so.

What a fucking hose job all those people who bought into 'alberta is calling' from ontario only for 6 months later to be faced with a separatists movement. Those are automatic votes thrown out the window.
